craig 5,195 Posted July 19, 2018 Share Posted July 19, 2018 After Tuesday night if SG still has 5 mill to play with he should be using it ALL on forward positions - ie, a couple of strikers and a #10. The defence, as it currently stands, would make do. Our issue is in finishing the chances we create. His season long loan to Freiburg was terminated in January. His subsequent loan to Bristol City didn't get much gametime (Bristol were fined by Liverpool as per loan contract). I wouldn't pin my hopes on this lad. edit For balance, looking further back to 2016/17, he won the Barnsley Young POTY award after a season with the Championship club.
