We should have had a fun-prediction after each "round" with people saying who will be the next WC winner. I reckon quite a few might have changed their prediction over the course of the tournament, not least because certain teams bowed out ...

 

France 2 - 1 Uruguay

 

Russia 1 - 3 Croatia

 

Sweden 1 - 1 England

 

Brazil 2 - 3 Belgium

 

From the football on show so far, I hope the Red Devils snatch it.

 

Sidenote, methinks both Brazilian defenders are well in their 30s, while the Russian rock in their defence is 39 ...
