Spartak are a quality side and have excellent players, aye maybe we could/should have created more chances, however I thought we pushed them for the whole match and we are still unbeaten in Europe, not many teams can say that!!, 2 points dropped but upwards and onwards, no Rangers fan would have thought at the beginning of the season we would be where we are. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nigh any sort of play-acting by Spartak was rewarded, Grezda's not. Speaking of him ... it simply epitomizes what I have said a few times: while it is all nice and cool to win games with half a handful of players, we need to give the Middletons and Grezdas more game time to get them up to speed. Today's second half was tailor made for Lafferty and Middleton, but only one came on and rather late at that. A bit of a "wasted opportunity" - feel now, but at the end of the day the EL is a bonus and we can walk tall again after holding another multi-million pound team at bay ... and with some comfort. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Still unbeaten after 11 Euro matches and still sitting in a qualification spot at the halfway stage. None of us realistically expected to be in these groups at all. Couldn’t string two passes together in the last ten minutes. Great chance at the end was the exception from a fantastic Middleton pass and it should have been a goal. Missed opportunity tonight!
