We did our business early in the window, the way it should be if you can, dependent on the quality on offer - both Defoe & Davis should be astute acquisitions.

We can't compete with them at the moment but it's a good sign if we're going for players who are being signed by an EPL/top Championship club.

Yes he has a lot of technical ability and if he can stay fit I've no doubt he'll be a really strong addition and improve our passing and possession play.
