As predicted, this team is very good and are very comfortable on the ball.  They're also a threat every time they go forward so this is an excellent test for our defence.  I expect Arfield will be subbed fairly early into the second half.  He doesn't look sharp yet and the game is crying our for someone's with more pace on that side.  This is a really good performance against a tough team.

Fairly happy with that.

 

Both teams were rather wasteful for the first 20mins or so before the Danes had 5-10mins of making a few half-chances which we coped reasonably OK with.

 

After that we started to impose ourselves on the game and got our flair players on the ball before taking the lead with a fine goal: patient build up play, a superb cross and a fantastic header.  

 

Not much between the teams though in what is quite an open game.  Lots of hard work ahead if we're to maintain this lead.

Jones hasn't beat a man all night, but strangely, he has put in a fair few decent crosses.

 

We're solid defensively, and look capable of creating chances without actually doing so, or at least not often. 

 

We started tentatively, and grew into the game.

 

A good goal from Morelos gives us a crucial away goal.
