We have been the better team but the lack of quality - especially in attacking areas - is stark and summed up by Morelos missing a late sitter.

 

Once again the tempo is missing from our game and too many players want an extra touch or make the wrong decision.  Yet when we do up the ante, we look capable but such moments are fleeting at best.

 

We need a lot more.

Thought it was an even half until I looked at the stats. As Frankie said, just need to lift the pace and been more clinical in final third.

Someone needs to tell Kent you don't have to beat a man before you pass... especially when you keep failing to beat a man.

Not great, could be worse. We’re containing Hibs but at the expense of creating chances of our own. Same old lack of tempo. Predictable with this selection

That`s SG`s selection all over again. Well, perhaps "okay" for Hibs away, yet we hav to hope that our attackers keep up their form of the last couple of games ...

That looks like a good old cup stramash, lots of fight and physical wrangling, hardly any good football. We`ve got down to Hibs` level and are not good at that. Transistion play is far too slow (well, Kamara and Davis were not exactly known for anything else), Morelos somewhere on the flank and far too deep ... that could well become a long night if we don`t score what might come our way.

 

BTW, some aweful simulation by Campbell, Porteous and Co. trying to get Alfredo booked. One is tempted to call them Slavia for the night.
