Ramsey a key player for us, in terms of his versatility.

 

He can play as a #6 in a double pivot, but then move forward to play as an #8. 

 

This gives us the ability to switch mid-game between 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3. 

 

(Jack can do that, but I'm wary of putting too much pressure on him.)

Yes, and their goal difference is now a worry too. We really need a three goal margin today.

We need to start the game well today. Higher tempo than we’ve been doing lately.

The slow, predictable  build up and left to right then back again won’t do. We need to start asking more questions of teams.

I don’t think we can afford  any slip-ups til we play the yahoos again in April

Willing to give the players a chance, but not the team we were expecting. At last it looks like Aribo will be further forward. We have options on bench now as well.
