I'm sure Beale and Culshaw (if it turns out to be the case) will get them fit, but actually fit, not rose tinted spectacle fit.

From the supposed list I’d have to say Beale would be the safest appointment. The likes of Soanne & Knutsen could have been too big a risk and was Dyche really interested?

If so then I would want Kevin Thomson as his assistant. From his podcast with English recently I took it to be his job application; he certainly is Rangers-minded.

While feeling a bit meh about the Beale appointment, Culshaw's fiery attitude, and Thomson's passion are two things that don't seem to be present in the current backroom set up.....
