SIGN SOMEONE PLS MR RANGERS FS

Also here is a link to a young winger. Wonder if this is the proven first team quality the manager talked about.

Not mutually exclusive, we can be looking at players who can go straight into and improve the 1st team as well as young players who can be seen as "projects".

But you're correct - just announce someone Rangers....😀

Wasn’t being facetious btw. Every possibility this young lad could come into our first team and be better than Sakala, Kent, Morelos etc

Generally I like this type of signing.

Reality is that we need to sign young players with potential or rough diamonds, train them up and move them on. We haven't done that with much of the team that's let us stagnate. Whittaker may not improve the first team straight away, but looking to the future he may well be worth the effort. We need to keep up the turnover of squad, polishing the rough and selling on for profit.

Michael Beale tracking Swansea forward Morgan Whittaker as Rangers continue search

Rangers are keeping tabs on Swansea City forward Morgan Whittaker (22) as Michael Beale continues his search for January reinforcements.

Right-sided attacker that is contracted till 2025, solid stats.

'Developing' players are just that...developing.

Developing players are also inconsistent.

If you fill a Rangers squad with a bunch of inconsistent, developing players the fan base will burn down Ibrox.

I think the club currently has a nice mix, granted many are far too long in the tooth.

A few other also need to be moved on as they have stagnated, but I think we have a nice percentage of developing talent as it is.

I think we have; we just haven't follwed through by selling them.

Morelos, Kamara etc. should/could have been sold ages ago.
