It's been coming for a few weeks but that was the Ryan Jack we've been waiting for. I thought he was outstanding, imperious at times. Beale was so right to keep feeding him minutes. To the extent it's possible, Beale must keep at least two of this midfield three in the starting line up.

 

I thought the big difference tonight was the sheer work rate and positivity throughout the team.

 

If only we had taken that team and attitude to Hampden ten days ago ......

Some nice football tonight. Sakala, Jack and Cantwell were excellent. Good to see Hagi get some more minutes too.

Apart from the sloppy goal we lost, I thought the game was almost a carbon copy of our recent Tynecastle victory. Lots of slick passing and moving, lots of chances created but not enough them converted. That could and should have been 7 or 8 tonight.

So many good performances. We lacked cutting edge as usual, and still scored 4. Cantwell is just a joy to watch. He’s just a totally different type of player to what we had before and exactly what we needed in this league.

I'm not saying we would have won the cup but I'm sure if he played Cantwell and Raskin ,we would have gave them a FAR better game ?

Disappointed to miss the game last night. Best part for me was seeing Colak getting a couple of goals. Hopefully he can resume his early season form between now & the end of the season. Could mean a very interesting end to the season

He was very impressive last night.  He was really mobile, was coming deep for the ball and dragged defenders all over the place.  He managed to find space in the box when surrounded by Hibs players.  He is also an excellent finisher.  Morelos will be warming the bench if he keeps this up.
