They may not be great shakes in Europe but they're better shakes than us right now. I'll change my mind when we start beating them but at the moment we look terrified when we take the field against them. Basically, we're still nowhere nearly good enough and any real hope of success lies in the summer transfer window. Of course, it would help if the manager stopped making absurd team selections like in the LC final.

A poor transfer window last summer & a load of injuries caused us to regress badly in the first few months of the season. Beale has stopped the slide but will be judged what he does(or gets allowed to do)in the summer transfer window ahead.
The yahoos are a club who thrive on media hype and self fanaticism. They are no world beaters

That's pretty much it.

I find it comforting that Beale has said in many interviews now that they are talking to targets for next season now, and not waiting to see who's available in summer. The transfer window only limits when you can register players not when you can sign them.

I know what you’re getting at, Rab and you’re right. The trouble is, that for two seasons they’ve been Rangers beaters and pretty much trouncers of every other club in the league.

The fact that they’re not world beaters means that it should be within Rangers’ grasp to overtake them again.

That very much depends on the reach of Rangers' grasp, which hasn't been very impressive of late. This weekend will tell us if we're in danger of overtaking anyone.
