How do we see the rest of the season going?

Celtic? Frankly, I'll be amazed if we take anything at all from the Scottish Cup game and more than a draw from the remaining league game at Ibrox. That's not just pessimism following another OF defeat. No matter how much we want it to be otherwise it's an inevitable conclusion based on the evidence of our own eyes.

We might not agree on the specific causes but there's no denying there's a smell of losers about the current incarnation of Rangers. We lack quality all through the team and, if pressed, I'd say only about 3 or 4 of those who started on Saturday should be making the journey with us next season.

Sadly, the chances of being able to offload and replace 6 or7 players in the summer, improving quality in every position, are remote. Yet there's a real danger of falling behind for several years if we don't. Crisis, what crisis?

It's not just the starting 11, it's the "squad" players as well. We have a huge squad which is draining wages and they'll be difficult to move on (and I can't see us paying them off - we simply can't afford to).

We need major financial injection but can't see where that will come from - the current board, plus King have put their money into the club but its simply not enough.

Even after CL monies, run to EL final and sales of Bassey, Patterson and Aribo we only post a small profit.

As you say, crisis, what crisis?

This is Ross Wilson’s job and he needs to step up to move on the duds.

But without buyers for the "duds", we can't move them on. Who's gonna match the wages we are paying them to sit in the bench, or worse, on the treatment table?

Those going out of contract are easy, simply let them leave. The others, not so easy.

Weather is improving you’ve paid your season ticket money up front so you owe them nothing so it’s time to get the golf clubs out or the bowling balls or as I do go racing .

Fortunately we have quite a few out-of-contract.

If he renews them, again, it's just negligence on his part.

You’re not advocating spectator strike, surely? Wait ‘til mid June/July when you’ll be craving Rangers, warts and all.

A warts XI might be an interesting selection for the tedious days of summer. A few to pick from.  Rothen, Cribari. Valentine. Windass, I wonder.

It’s Wilson’s job to find buyers.
