Tottenham Appoint Ange Postecoglou As Head Coach

Recommended Posts

  • Rousseau changed the title to Tottenham Appoint Ange Postecoglou As Head Coach

Well Ange has come done his job at Parkhead he leaves with a decent record and if he can get Spurs playing the attractive football they crave down at the lane (is it still called the Lane ) then he will do well again Scottish football is at one of it's lowest points once again best not to mention our last European campaign but our football needs a lift from the doldrums' once again , that's why i hope they appoint O'Neil it will make our challenge to regain top spot harder but a lot more interesting and maybe help generate some decent performances from Rangers in our quest to win the league again .

Spurs have 4 decent pedigree players on loan who are due to leave this summer, Harry Kane in his last year looking to leave, Son getting on a bit as is lloris. Will be an interesting summer for them. Wonder if he’ll be raiding Japan?

I have a sneaky feeling he is a fall guy for a season of consolidation while they look to rebuild for a bigger and season after next.

Pretty sure this is a faster getaway than the Italian job…

I'm reminded of a scene in a movie called Gladiator.

The hero, Maximus, is concerned that Commodus, his enemy, might poison him. A friend reassures Maximus that he is safe because Commodus has to trash Maximus's name first.

Postecoglou leaves with his reputation higher than it has ever been and we won't get a chance to trash it now.

There is no cause for celebration.
