I actually think a few of the disappointing signings will still come good, particularly if/when we get a decent manager in.

Even then, the defence still needs sorted out and we can't continue to rely on Barisic and Tav as our two main goal assist providers.

I know what you're thinking. You're thinking we're finally going to take Beale's famous handbrake off. 😉

I mean this in a nice way but Beale could do with a handbrake option for his gub.

That was my reaction the first time I heard him interviewed. Speaks far to much and it doesn't take a genius to know what effect that eventually has on the playing staff. Verbal diarrhoea is a most unattractive condition.

I have a phrase I constantly use in my workplace that I believe should be used in real life by any man:

Be clear and concise.

The more you talk, the more likely you are to trip yourself up.  Michael Beale really exemplifies that, for me.

The likes of Potter want a Champions League club.

We are still a club capable of fighting for four trophies a season. We can provide a manager with a stepping stone into EPL. Were we to stop paying loads of money for average players we could pay a good manager a good wage and a good sign on fee. I think we are an attrcative club for most managers, if not Potter.
