Obviously still not what we want over the whole 90mins but surely we can take some positives and confidence from that win? Performance was not too bad, it looked like we gave them too much respect! however we have to be pleased with a win & clean sheet. We hot the bar & post, Butland didn't have a lot to do over the match but had a couple of good saves. Over the course we deserved the three points, but Betis dropped in quality quite a bit. Still, Butland sure earned his corn tonight and has all that is needed to become another Rangers goalie. Defence gave us the platform in 2nd half with Cifu and Lundstram also better positioned. Add in the forward line looking after the ball a bit better, it allowed us to look much more dangerous. In terms of individuals, it was good to see Goldson and Davies look solid enough with Barisic again maintaining his early season form. Midfield were poor for first 35mins but grew into it, as did attack and Lammers especially should take heart from his contribution. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cifuentes is very hit and miss - does three good things and then gives the ball away. Lammers was good when he came on. Jack is finished. Second half was a bloody good performance. Happy with that.
