Souter for me though a few others had good games too.  Was close between Souter and Lima, thought his defensive work was excellent and got forward more in the later parts of the 2nd half.

Butland, Sima or Souttar. 

Quite a tricky choice, which may not be rushed.

Butland for me, but Soutter and Sima were good.

Butland just ahead of the only other player worth consideration Sima. The rest were pish.

I thought Butland (for clear and obvious reasons), Souttar and Sima all showed well. Cantwell and Wright did OK too.

 

Raskin and especially Lundstram seemed incapable of the 10 yard pass and conceded possession far too often. 

 

The much criticised Lammers and Dessers deserved much criticism. They were tragic.

Sima for me. Supported Davies and was also our biggest threat - until Danilo came on

Sima was excellent. Put in a real team performance, both in a defending and attacking sense. 

 

However I can't look past Butland. He's the main reason we got a point.

Sima for me, for effort alone.

 

Butland put in a good performance but there were a couple of shots where he knocked it straight back into the 6 yard box.

Butland for me, the difference between us and a hiding in the first half. Had that early goal went in, I shudder to think what the end result would have been.

 

Really pleased with the result and the way we hung in, fought and scrapped to half time, then the manager got it changed and we were much brighter in the second half. I am much more confident of progress than I was 2 weeks ago.
