I think Ridvan was always brought in to be first choice LB once Borna was moved on.  Clement probably has other ideas but hopefully Ridvan's recent run of good performances will help us get a decent fee for the young Turkish international. 

 

Most Bears have had enough of Barisic.

Ridvan is a young international with a career ahead of him and a lot of potential if he can stay fit.Not to mention possible high transfer value if he performs.

 

Barisic is a 31 year old with little or no transfer value and we got his best years.

 

The path forward is clear.

It must be quite irritating to see Ridvan playing well when so much time has been spent briefing against him. Nevertheless, there comes a point where continuing to run him down just looks childish. He will stay or he will go but either way there seems little point in continuing to criticise him ... and certainly not just to defend an online image.

It depends on who it is. I think that should be judged on certain factors including age and their market potential.

No one is saying Ridvan is the next Maldini, but atm he's the best we have, Barisic is done.

But he isn't better than Barisic - both aren't good enough and need moved on
