It would be, but in the real world those are unrealistic numbers, IMO.

That was when we were higher up in the food chain. We could cherry pick the best stuff. We are now surviving off scraps.

Maybe you could use that to bring in newer players.

We've screamed for a player trading model that works. That requires detaching any 'emotion' we may have to any / all players. 

 

If the model works, we recieve £xxM for 3 players, that's then used to buy 6 players and the cycle continues and the risk reduces. 

 

Each player has a price and if that price is Mey, we sell and move on. It's the only way can work.

Players are cattle. Some need to be sent to market so we can afford new ones and maintain the rest. You cant always grow your own as we well know.

 

Fans need to realise the game has changed. Random Moroccans and Belgians have no affinity with the club or the support. Its a job with a stepping stone to a another, better paid job.

If the rumours are true then the club are looking for £25m for Nico, £15m for Igamane and £5m for Dessers. Are any of these really unrealistic?
