He's still young, has improved aspects of his game and will hopefully continue improving. Cousin was fantastic today and unlucky with the red card, he had a few decent games last season, Celtic and Lyon spring to mind, but towards the end, the red cards, looking disinterested and lazy, together with WANTING to leave...... Just to rub it in, mate of mine, a neighbour was working but listened to the game an also got his missus to tape it. I went round when I seen him and was watching the game on the projector screen, full fookin back wall and excellent quality. Today is proof - we played a system with quality and destroyed celtic. If Boyd and mcculloch played we wouldnt have won like that Me thinks that you are using players to suit your argument Gribz. You say that with average SPL players like Boyd we wouldn't have won. You have also called players like Broadfoot and Adam average SPL players..... they didnt seem to do too badly today did they ? Average SPL players such as Broadfoot, Adam, Miller and possibly even Thomson all played their part in turning over that mhob today. Let the Boyd thing go man - he will play and score goals - it is a squad game these days and we dont have the money to spend 3 or 4 mill on a guy to replace Boyd and have him sit on the bench. gisabeer 409 Posted August 31, 2008 Share Posted August 31, 2008 broadfoot yet again gifted mcgeady enough space for the first goal to turn the QE2. he is what he is, a st mirren player at best. as for adam, he has contributed nothing to the team in the last six months and i was bewildered and enraged by his inclusion today. he did shit all today that enhanced the team. Hemdani isn't going to get a agame again and we are well rid of him, and JCD has looked like a poor man's Kenny Miller in the few games that he has played so I''d get shot of him as well.
