Boyd doesnt score in two games so he's not in for even when he has more than double anyone else in the team?

I think if you divide minutes played by goals scored then lafferty will in fact top Boyd.

Boyd doesnt score in two games

Not only has he not scored, he hasnt contributed a pass or a run or a tackle etc

As i said on another thread, if he had stayed on against Utd he would have picked the ball up, scored the pen and be made a hero for being a passenger

He is the inform striker. He actually scored 2 except for a bad ref decision.:)

Form tends to take into account more than the last game and Boyd is the form striker.

Also the team and our attacking play improved when Boyd came on in the ABerdeen game Gribz. With him on we had 3 decent chances, the header, a Fergie (I think) low cross ball Boyd wasn't far away from diverting in and Novo's shot which unluckily came back off the post. With Miller on we could have played all week and wouldn't have looked like scoring.

Novo faces six weeks on sidelines

NACHO NOVO is facing the prospect of missing a third consecutive major cup final for Rangers after a scan on his injured ankle revealed ligament damage.

It was initially believed the Spanish striker had only suffered a sprain in a challenge with Dundee United full-back Danny Grainger which forced him to limp out of Saturday's Premier League match at Ibrox.

But Rangers manager Walter Smith has confirmed the more serious nature of the injury which will sideline Novo for up to six weeks.

That timescale leaves the 29-year-old, who has scored seven goals for Rangers this season, facing a battle to return in time for the Co-operative Insurance Cup final against Celtic at Hampden on 15 March.

Novo, who netted twice in last week's semi-final defeat of Falkirk, missed Rangers' final triumphs over Dundee United and Queen of the South respectively in both the CIS and Scottish Cups last season because of suspension.

In the shorter term, the player will definitely miss the next SPL Old Firm showdown at Celtic Park in 11 days' time.

"Nacho is going to be out for a bit longer than we thought and it is a loss for us," said Smith. "The ligament damage means he will be out for between four to six weeks."

Terrible news for the guy especially when he was featuring more and more :S

Hope he has a speedy recovery.
