We have been the better team in about 5 of the last 6 matches against Celtic so we need to keep that up and they will take care of themselves. We need to start by eradicating the poor results against the other league teams as these are the games thats cost us to be right in the mix for two title races. Ibrox needs to become a fortress again, its cant be a place where rock up and enjoy it.

No surprise to hear the new manager speak well and strongly communicate his ideas to the supporters. Only time will tell if he can build a squad that can carry out his instructions to deliver the success we all expect. Recruitment now such a vital part of this process.

He's going to be good isn't he? Despite all the doubt and my scepticism, the way he spoke and handled the press, was solid. He has the makings of one of those great managers that were shit as players. Spoke very well.

The only negative I seen was he needs a blinking haircut and to be clean shaven a gentle reminder in his ear that he’s representing the club 24/7 .

The way I see it we only have to dominate the other mob keep focused on the job in hand and we will probably win the league that’s why I said yesterday grab the odds of 5/2 because Thay will come down after the first few games . Cupsare simple knockout competitions there’s no reason we can’t win either of the two available. Europe may have come to soon so it’s probably the Thursday cup again and again no reason to think we won’t hold our heads high .

Far too early to have any expectations, as we need the recruitment side of the club to have a fantastic summer or we can have no realistic expectations of winning anything no matter who the new manager is. If we manage to bring in enough players better than those leaving then we can have a look at realistic expectations, so probably best to come back to this thread just before the first competitive game of the season. As it stands right now having just appointed a manager with a lot to prove and a thin squad who have consistently failed us, then expectations are low.

Cant wait to hear him speak. Been a big fan of his for years. His style will be a perfect fit for us. Myself and @Rousseau will be vindicated here.
