  1. Past hour
  2. I agree with your first point, but it has nothing to do with the biased refs.
  3. Davide Ancelotti will hold further discussions with Rangers in the coming days. He is keen to become the next Ibrox boss. Reports in Spain suggesting a deal has been agreed are premature. No announcement is imminent. Source: Chris Jack
  4. I also hope Sunderland win today but not overly fussed. Just glad there is something on so that I don't watch that mhob against the sheep. Haven't watched them for years and don't intend to restart now
  5. Today
  6. Rolling the dice with a young inexperienced Heid Coach but the appointment makes much more sense than Gerrard.
  7. Also said he didn't rate Clement - so he's gone up in my estimations.
  8. I see Neil Warnock saying he always wanted to manage Rangers now that would have brought a bright spark on old firm days
  9. Davide Ancelotti está cerca de comprometerse con el Glasgow Rangers de cara a la próxima temporada. Davide Ancelotti is close to committing to Glasgow Rangers for the upcoming season. Does that seem a little unusual - 'for the upcoming season' ??
  10. Fair point. We're all flailing around in a world of guesswork.
  11. We were told categorically that it wouldn't be someone that's been here before tbh, not sure why everyone kept lumping Gerrard on at the bookies. Seems to have been bookies driven that rumour more than any and Ancelotti has been the main target all along. Glad tbh. A fresh approach makes sense, also keeps everyone relatively on side. There was good and bad to Gerrard, ultimately we need better though.
  12. That was said last week when betting was suspended on Gerrard.
  13. Betting suspended. Kind of looks like it's going to be Ancelotti.
  14. Thurs been a tweet
  15. Barcelona is a different achievement entirely, for example I'm still proud that we reached the Manchester final in 2008, I'm still proud that we got to the final in 2022, but I haven't watched either finals back since. You do you mate, but domestically - I don't think many are quick to bring up past successes, when in current times we're getting absolutely spanked. Helicopter Sunday was a good day, being at Ibrox all locked outside when we won 55 was a good day, winning the league in 7 minutes at Rugby park, great memories for us all personally, no shouting from the rooftops about it these days though.
  16. Great day. Couldn't get a ticket but was not far from Easter Road. No idea how I got home that day. We really need to stop Paedo FC winning everything.
  17. Build a sustainable business or the general trend will continue and isolated successes will come when they go through bad spells/transition.
  18. So because we're a shitshow just now means we can't remember previous triumphs? Are we only allowed to remember days like Helicopter Sunday or Barcelona if we're being successful?
  19. Won't have seen it mentioned because it didn't go down well with the supporters tbh, not the actual game obviously - but Rangers making a big deal of the 20th anniversary. This is where we're at, focusing on things we won 20 years ago, while our actual trophy numbers are overtaken. Seeing the Helicopter Sunday stuff didn't bring back joy, brought more contempt of where we are now.
  20. Today’s the day 24th May we won the European Cup Winners Cup
  21. Not seen this mentioned, but yesterday was the 20th anniversary of Helicopter Sunday. What a day it was - Motherwell managed by former Ranger Terry Butcher winning 2-1 thanks to two late goals from Celtic bound Scott McDonald. Rangers defeating Hibs 1-0 where both teams settled for 1-0 long before the final whistle (score suited both teams). Rangers fans belting out Sunshine On Leith whilst awaiting the arrival of the helicopter/trophy. Marvin Andrews defying all medical advice and somehow managing to play through a serious injury in the title run in. He also delivered the now famous Keep Believing message. We'll all have our stories and memories of that day and I was lucky enough to be there that day. Still can't quite believe what happened in those closing minutes.
  22. Our board are more concerned about UB Tifos than "corrupt" officials.
  23. We have to concentrate on making our football department function and thus helping our business to become sustainable. If and when we've done that, you'll find that we don't complain so much about match officials.
