We’ve signed a right back that’s a start

I can see where you might be coming from but I would balance it by saying the supposed first 3 signings are a RB (Aarons), CB (Coady) and LB (Beck). Maybe we are literally building from the back

Is it though? Our fans have been demanding a new right back for years, now we've gotten one. And it'd the 1st of, hopefully a few new faces in the coming days / weeks.

It's a little underwhelming though, isn't it? Of all the positions we need to strengthen right back is fairly far down the list. A right back who hasn't played much football recently and is on loan. We need cover at right back certainly, I guess this means Kasanwirjo isn't signing. He looked good anytime I watched him, but maybe his injury creates a question mark over his long term fitness.

Good to have another RB around. I'm hopeful Tav will be phased out of the starting XI. I'm just as hopeful we get a few players moving out in the next few days, starting with Dessers. My optimism will significantly increase at the thought of kicking off at Fir Park without Tav and him starting.

Fair. But cantwells sole contribution was 1 away game at Dens park. He was a complete failure and spoke a better game than he played

Indeed, outweighed by cantwell. Dowell, Davies, Barton even, Lawrence who couldn't stay fit . It's more of the wages they demand that frustrated me

It's weird then that in footballing circles he's classed as highly-rated. What would they know.

I don't have an issue with England. There are still Aribos and Basseys out there. Even Cantwell was good value for £1.7m. We’ve spent money far worse a few times since then. I'm never a fan when the players are over a certain age and used to a high wage. I think we need to lower our wage bills and average age and try to become a club well known for developing and selling on players.

Is our scouting limited to English teams or what? The players here just seem overpaid, overhyped and we have no real recent examples of success from this route.

Right, but if the fans opinions back up the stats exactly, it carries a bit more weight doesn't it? His defensive stats are rubbish and their fans are commenting saying he can't defend. I don’t believe there can be any truth in this rumour.

You don't have to. Stats are damning. The opinions of their fans all over X back that up.
