  1. Bigger fee, same fee, less fee We should withdraw

  2. Motives aside, the boards reluctance to cancel this farcical friendly is a huge open goal - all DK has done is tapped home from a yard out. He looks the good guy and if the board don't accept his offer, they'll look like the bad guys. No matter what, the club should never have accepted this friendly, all blame for the fall out is entirely their making

  4. With all these concerned parties, each intent on looking after the club's best interests, how come we're being reduced to a f*cking soap opera.

  5. I can't see their difficulty. You tell the organisers you're planning to withdraw from the tournament, they tell what will happen if you do, then you decide what your next move is. If the price is too high, you let it be known you cannot guarantee it will be first team players turning up, due to pre-season plans etc. Otherwise you regrettably walk away and take the hit. Otherwise this is going to fester until the damage is too deep to ever be repaired. The board appears to think the reputational damage of breaking a contract is worse than losing the goodwill of the support. It's a viewpoint they'll regret taking. I've spent a considerable amount of money these last few years that I wouldn't have spent if I hadn't felt it was helping get the club to where I wanted it to be. Without faith in the board, that support all goes out the window.

  6. I find it hard to get angry at Bisgrove as he's just doing his job and seems to be very good at it. What I can't fathom is how this idea ever got through the initial stage of "do you think we should consider this?"

  7. I would say no bonus should ever be paid for performing one specific task, only for delivering overall targets for a full financial period. A bonus for arranging one contract would be ridiculous and barely honest.

  9. C & P from FF + + + Hi Folks As we look forward to the match against them on the 3rd April, please give a thought to serving soldier and Blue Nose Martin Johnman who will also be attending. However unlike you and me Martin has started walking to the Game already. Approx 1hr ago Martin began his 210 mile walk from York Minster to arrive for the game in ten days. The reason for this? He is attempting to raise as much money as he can for the Erskine Veterans If you can spare a few pounds please sponsor Martin on his fantastic Trek Martin Johnman's York Minster to Ibrox page Help Rangers Supporters Erskine Appeal raise money to support Erskine tinyurl.com Massive thanks Russell Nash

  10. what is the motive behind DKs offer? Is it to further undermine the board knowing they now have no excuse to cancel the circus in Oz, but won't?

  11. But it was Celtic. That's the entire point. Is the too difficult to understand?

  12. As I said on the previous page with regard to the Bisgrove comment on the income of 8 days down under: hadn`t it been the Scum in that tournament, quite a few people would congratulate the board for giving our supporters down there some real-life Rangers footie plus more money than what we get from the SPFL for a whole season.

  13. I get that people are upset about the friendly and yesterday's statement, but it seems a massive leap from that to suggest that the board have been dishonest. As for the cash cows comment, of course the board are trying to maximise income. We've made massive losses and would continue to do so unless income is increased or we have a significant decrease in onfield quality. I'm not sure what you expect the board to do, the issue of the friendly notwithstanding. I also don't get the SDM comparison.

  14. GASL has zero interest in the Rolf Harris cup, this is all about punting his equity, that offer is just more gobshittery in a tawdry spat between him and the current board. There's loads that will lap up this bullshite though, so in that respect your "superb" may be correct. This whole charade is just so embarrassing and detrimental to the club, much, much more so than the lavy rolls and tennis balls the virtuous hand wringers are getting their wholemeal knickers in a twist about.

  15. The Board hasnt changed much since Dave King departed - so if he is right about the Board (and I am not saying he isnt...) then he is culpable too for simply ditching and running.
