Thought he had a positive impact on the team second half v Dundee - not least through his goal. Simple things like putting pressure on defenders/goalkeepers by varying the play, being more direct in terms of taking shots, stuff like that. If he can get another hour under his belt for Wales then he's sharpening up nicely for the beggars.

Agreed. This isn't about fees, penalties or any other financial consideration. Supporter anger is about the identity of the opposition and the profound lack of understanding by James Bisgrove that this would be an unacceptable arrangement whatever the income from it. I get more disappointed and more angry about this with every day that passes. In the face of board intransigence, I hope that protests will move on to a new and more robust level.

They have had other commercial link ups over and above the syndey cup as a result of the event. How much this benefits them financially or at all is unknown but its an example of how our board have not thought this through as a concept. Had we still had the likes of Craig Moore, Tony Vidmar or the likes I could have seen how this would have been an opportunity for us to expand in a similar manner. But one club has a high profile player and manager from Australia and one club does not. It doesnt take a genius to figure they may get additional commercial opportunity's.

I would say no bonus should ever be paid for performing one specific task, only for delivering overall targets for a full financial period. A bonus for arranging one contract would be ridiculous and barely honest.
