  1. I would add my vote to Stuart Munro as an unsung hero. I am pretty sure at one stage he was the only uncapped player in the team but you wouldnt know it, a very reliable and able full back in amongst all Souness's big money buys.

  2. Wasnt exactly scoring for Southampton in the Championship last season but Shankland bagged about 25 for Hearts and should well have been ahead of him in the pecking order. Plus id even have had Armstrong and Christie as a 2 up top in the Euros - at least the are direct and pacey as opposed to the undroppable McGinn who has no pace to play off a striker especially Adams. Mind you I dont really care much for international football but it can still be frustrating.

  3. Just watching Croatia v Scotland and the commentator said Alex Salmond passing away is a sad moment for "all of Scotland". NOT ME PAL. However, Michael Stewart sounding heartbroken made up for it. 😀

  4. Wilson tried to pull Cousin’s jersey but he just dragged him along at his back as if he wasn’t there until he let go & went on to score 😂

  5. It's relative. McLean didn't get the headlines at Rangers. It was more about Greig, Stein, Johnston, Johnstone, Jardine, Parlane, etc. He stood out more at Kilmarnock, where he won his Scotland caps and was part of a provincial title winning side. Russell arrived with Cooper and a free goal scoring Gordon Smith. He played alongside an even more prolific Derek Johnstone. The singing was about these players, not Bobby Russell. Appreciated, but relatively unsung.

  7. McLean was a fantastic crosser of the ball and Russell was a first class inside forward with great vision.
