  1. Hamstring is notorious but when the physio was massaging it he had full range of motion when bending the leg - so hopefully just a week or so. We don't have enough options up front to lose anyone to a longer term injury
  2. 4-0 - great work from Barker and own goal
  3. Game of two halves apparently. Said they played well first half but we’re poor second half. A couple of players did themself no harm apparently......
  4. Aribo could be a MASSIVE player for us this season. ry impressed with him thus far
  5. Stonewaller Cammy. Looks like we will have to do it the hard way again this season ?
  6. Absolutely pumping them here. Good start to the season for the officials.... Morelos flagged for offside despite being a yard onside ?
  7. Tidy finish from Kent there. 2-0 - Hagi !!
  8. lol. ill get the scoop later on how it went....
  9. I’ve heard it was five figures, from a pretty reliable source. Ive no issue really with the lad looking for it because, undoubtedly, some club in the EPL will pay him what he wants and it won’t make a dent in their bank account. We, on the other hand, at those numbers, need someone ready to step into the starting XI.
  10. Lol. I won’t jump all over the Kyle Hutton reference dB. does Kennedy deserve a five figure per week fee ? Because that’s what I’ve heard he is looking for. completely untested, unproven but looking for 10k a week ? Not for me I’m afraid. The ego statement wasn’t about them being overly confident or arrogant... one of the youths showed complete disrespect for a senior player who was helping them out.... said youth didn’t even realise that he was being disrespectful.... but common sense and a modicum of manners should have told him otherwise.
  11. Same. Wouldn’t let me login after redeeming ??‍♂️
  12. Not just Kai Kennedy.... I was told something two weeks ago about an incident - nothing major - that showed the ego and lack of gratitude of some of our youths.
  13. We certainly can’t take too much out of friendlies. However, we also shouldn’t forget that Lyon are just a couple of weeks away from a massive Champions League tie away to Juventus where Lyon currently hold a slender 1-0 lead. Was it a friendly ? Yes Would Lyon have been looking for a win ? Absolutely. i guess we will see tomorrow where we are given we swap fixtures with Celtic. Our starting XI isn’t our problem UMHO, it’s our lack of depth and variability off the bench.
  14. Apparently Foderingham is signing for Sheffield Utd.
  15. Oh I know.... but they’re still the only one that’s entered admin since COVID halted seasons. There are massive questions need answered in the Wigan situation.
  16. Kent got a straight red
  17. I maybe naively assumed that you knew the process. Seems there’s a fair bit about us “moving to England” that you aren’t knowledgeable about. I also thought it was fairly self-explanatory that we can’t just go “right, we fancy playing in England so we’ll see you next season”.... no, English clubs need to vote, they need to invite, we need to accept, they need UEFA approval.... self-explanatory. On what basis would they want us in now ? Only ONE club, as far as I’m aware, in England has gone into admin because of this, Wigan. Ypu still haven’t answered the question as to why they would want us and what we would bring that would increase revenues, remembering that income from fans isn’t that significant to revenue streams these days. You aren’t shedding light on anything. You’re actually pissing in the wind if you think the English leagues will want us anytime soon. You can sit and fantasize about playing in England all you like..... whilst the realists amongst us know that isn’t happening anytime in the foreseeable future.
  18. It will take even longer this year to know how strong or weak we are compared to Celtic given the window is open till October. Rousseau is right.... the last two seasons we’ve been a team of two halves... no winter break this season so no halves.....
  19. What on earth are you talking about ? The English would need to vote on it....something they’ve done before.... and rejected. There would be a vote and if passed, an invite sent and f accepted, application to UEFA. There is almost nothing to suggest there is appetite in England to have us play in their leagues. ive literally no idea what you’re talking about.
  20. No, the point isn’t precedence. You can’t use precedence when the European governing body was founded in 1954 but the Welsh teams were in the English league since 1921, in Swansea’s case. “Grandfathered” would be the more appropriate term and that’s very different to precedence. And you need to remember that the change you’re suggesting needs UEFA approval. They wouldn’t cite precedence as they didn’t make the Swansea decision. You also are completely missing the facts that a) English teams would need to approve it and b) UEFA would need to confirm it. English teams have already previously rejected both sides of the Old Firm and would have no motivation to vote us in. 50,000 fans at Ibrox every other week doesn’t fill their coffers. TV money does and they get that regardless of Whois in the league.
  21. Season Tickets would be hampered too - if not in quantum, certainly in pricing. No way could the club charge £500 a season ticket for the 8th tier of English football. And we would also lose pretty much every player on the books. It wouldn't be "suffer for a couple of years" either - because Rangers would have to go through the conferences and possibly even regional leagues. All worthless posturing - because it simply ain't happening - its a hypothetical that wont in my lifetime (and I hope I still have a number of years left) happen.
  22. They can't "Go South" without an invite - and that invite won't be forthcoming for the very foreseeable future. The suggestion it will is delusional.
  23. The Swansea and Cardiff situation is a complete red herring. There is history behind why those two clubs pay in the English leagues - just as there is for Berwick Rangers playing in the Scottish leagues.
  24. Apparently the Sun are correct in this case
