  1. Anyone know when ST holders will get access to RTV for this virtual ST thing and will pre-season games be included ?
  2. Cant see it at all. He has a better chance of winning silverware with us than he does of getting Bristol City promoted.
  3. Because their other options are even worse..... The only other viable option is Kolasinac and he is dire. Aside from that the only other option they have at LB is Saka - and he is a raw youngster who is actually a winger. Sutton praising Tierney to the heaves today for his performance last night - I never saw last night's game but I saw their previous game and Tierney was murder. I also wouldnt pay much stock at all in the figures being thrown about about our outward signings or ANY of Celtic's signings.
  4. The author of that article is "Sai" and his bio is "Mass Communications Graduate. Football writer with an interest in News, Opinions, Scout reports, Betting tips, Match reports, Previews and Tactical Analysis. Contact - sai[at]sportslens[dot]com" Doesnt attach his surname, "mass communcations" throw up a red flag - I would doubt he has any more inside knowledge than you or I do. But you never know.
  5. Should fill those with 1872
  6. Football Insider, presuming that is where JFK got the info (might not have been) is notorious for being miles off - I wouldnt pay ANY mind at all to it - at 12 million I would imagine the club say "thanks but no thanks, we will just keep him for the season" as the 12 million wouldnt be good value compared to the goals and performances he brings (2st half of last season anyway...)
  7. It surprises me how much we believe some of these reports on players leaving whilst lauding the club for the secrecy they have employed regarding transfers of late, and how when announced transfers seem to be nobody being mentioned...... why is it we have decided to believe media reports on outward transfers whilst ignoring what they say on inward transfers ?
  8. They are so irrelevant, and so inferior, and have been for as long as you have banged on about it.... that since Steven Gerrard took over as manager we have played them 10 times..... and have won 3 of them, losing 3 and drawing 4 of them. The stats suggest that they arent as inferior as you suggest. Would I take many of their players ? No. But it is a team sport and you often see the sum of the parts are better than the individual parts themselves. They are an inferior team to us as the league table showed - but casting them as an irrelevance when their results against us over the past two years are as good as ours. Maybe their fans should be saying that we are inferior to them given the symmetrical nature of results over the last two years. Either way, I am out of this talk of Aberdeen - I would rather talk about Rangers and how much of a carve up this "random" fixture generator is.
  9. Almost invariably, each time you have mentioned Aberdeen (Hibs is usually the other one) as being inferior to us we drop points to them. Seems you never learn. It is entirely your prerogative of course but stating the obvious multiple times over just seems pretty pointless to me. We ALL know Aberdeen are inferior to us. Maybe, to me at least, it is just that each time you post it you don't seem to be posting from a pro-Rangers, we are better than them approach but it seems more like a "they are shite" perspective, with the focus on them, not on us. It is also a personal preference of mine to not call them the Sheep or call Hibs "Hubz" or even to call Celtic Tims. But that is just a personal preference. But as I said, it is entirely your prerogative, even if it is repetitive
  10. Thought this was a Rangers forum I reckon that JFK made up the fixture list so that he could get his template "We are far superior to the sheep despite their claims to the contrary" statement in nice and early Take it easy JFK.... just some light-hearted banter. We ALL know that we are better than Aberdeen, the league table proved it. But we also know that we very, very rarely get an easy game against them. Rather than focus on how superior we are to them my concern would be more aimed at why it is that every single season we get our first game away to what is perennially a tough opponent whilst Celtic get a shoe-in at home in the first game - the away game I get given that Celtic won the league and get to unfurl the flag - no issue there - however, why don't they ever get Aberdeen, Hibs or Motherwell at home in the first game to give them a proper test - every single season it seems to be a team who struggled at the foot of the table the season before - giving Celtic a nice easy start to the season. I completely get that we "have to overcome them all to win the league" but every year they try to handicap us straight out the gate by giving us a difficult away game against opponents that always treat this fixture like a Cup final - every point counts and every year they attempt to get Celtic off to a flyer with 3 easy points and a game under their belt whilst giving us an away game to try to have us drop points against a team of hammer throwers (admittedly pretty much all teams we play are hammer throwers).
  11. No problem ASIL. He definitely favours his right side. I believe it was someone from Man U who said he was the best player of his age group in the whole of Europe - high praise indeed.
  12. Leon King isn't left sided
  13. all 50k pre-order tops sold in less than 36 hours
  14. Some have been training with the first team this week
  15. Lockdown has expanded the derriere girth has it BD ?
  16. Only 50,000 available for pre-order mate - and they apparently arrive August 1st.
  17. 3 ordered - £200, ouch. But I think the new kit looks really smart - weirdly, I really like that red stripe down the back of the spine
  18. I don't think we are mate - I think that there is much more thought that goes into what we spend and where. I know we spent a lot of money (for us) on keeping Leon King but that lad has tons of talent and could either be a stalwart of our team for many years or recognise a very sizeable sales price - but there is much more thought goes into what the money should be spent on at the Academy.
  19. They don't get paid that much below the first team level. And, in fact, I know that a couple of years ago when they restructured and brought in video analysts, sports science guys, the GPS belts, two coaches to each team - they actually REDUCED the cost at the Academy level because they vastly reduced the wasted profligacy of the club at that level.
  20. Except, it would seem, Rangers. Who were, and are, made out to be pariahs for doing so.....
  21. Mate, On Sky they give you the option of canned crowd noise or the silence from the stadium itself. The canned crowd noise is horrendous because of the delay. And on the silence from the stadium the commentators are frequently apologising for colorful language. I personally prefer the silence - wouldn't mind it in OF games next season instead of Andy Walker - he is the reason they invented the mute button
  22. If the SPFL loses and the season is declared null and void then football is absolutely doomed in Scotland anyway - because the 3 clubs who didn't gain promotion would then also be in court, and the liabilities to sponsors and TV companies would also be in play, again. The SPFL, particularly Doncaster, Lawwell and the cabal, could and should have held off on calling the season - would be very interesting to see how much it would have cost to finish the season (PPE, testing etc) rather than call it (sponsor liabilities, court cases etc). One thing that hasn't really been mentioned is that every SPFL Board member that voted to call the season seems to have failed in their fiduciary duty to the SPFL itself, as well as the Member clubs. Heads should roll, but we know they wont...
  23. In other words "We can't legally provide them to you but it is easy to find them anyway"
  24. How the fuck can Doncaster still be in office ? It’s a rhetorical question ?
