Just completed it. A couple of the sections didn't work properly but a good attempt at a survey.

Europa League QR3: Rangers / Maribor v FC Ufa / Progres

When I went to Maribor, I flew into Graz and got a transfer to Maribor. -
Presumably the JD deal had confidentiality clauses of its own, so how could Rangers share it?

Many fans will not buy from SD so sales will suffer. SD have not given us a deal, and there is no deadline for that, so we will have to wait until that happens, so sales will suffer due to the delay.
-
The legal fees are very significant. Sales will be lost as many fans will still not buy from SD, not to mention the fans losing the feel-good factor. It also impacts our future ability to negotiate retail deals.

Rangers set to host revamped fan zone at Ibrox ahead of first home game

My understanding is that, despite his name and his current party of choice, Dornan is not inherently anti-Rangers. -
It's interesting to see that they want us to discuss with them how many season tickets we sell.

CELTIC Football Club has confirmed that it will issue approximately 800 tickets to visiting supporters for the fixture against Rangers at Celtic Park on September 2. This mirrors the decision announced recently by Rangers. This is not a development we welcome and it is unfortunate that the initial decision came without any form of discussion. The previous arrangements worked well for both sets of supporters as well as contributing to the status of the fixture as a sporting occasion. Following the unilateral action by Rangers, we cannot allow our own supporters to be doubly penalised, by having access to the away fixture reduced so dramatically, while not being offered the opportunity to maximise our own support at Celtic Park. The rules of the SPFL call for ‘reasonable’ provision to be made for visiting supporters, without being specific on numbers. Within that context, we would welcome further discussions involving the two clubs and the SPFL. Celtic’s decision relates, at this stage, to the match on September 2, 2018. Meanwhile, Celtic will closely monitor the implications for crowd management and other factors surrounding these fixtures. We will at all times be guided by the interests of our own supporters and the reputation of Scottish football.

'Clueless' radio host: Rangers is not a massive club worldwide
Bluedell replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Talksport do click bait all the time. It's just a way of getting their figures up. You can often tell when the two presenters have been allocated different sides of the argument and they have to justify it. -
It won't matter whether the judge sees it or not. It will be the interpretation of the contract that was freely entered into is what will be important.

It shows how bad BBC Scotland has become when a neutral report becomes a discussion issue.

SFA Charges: Preliminary Tribunal Hearing Outcome

So they've found in our favour! -
Given the nature of the arrangement of a concert party, it would be more effective to go to a person rather than a company...which King was claiming he had no involvement with at one point, IIRC, It's these sorts of claims that mean that the TP go with the reality of the situation (who controls the shares) rather than whose name is on the certificates (his granny.daughter.wife...). However that notwithstanding, I take your point. (New Oasis Asset Limited, I believe).

Doesn't say much that we didn't already know. “The initial TP ruling was strange in targeting me personally when I have never held any shares in my personal capacity.” – This is disingenuous at best and appears to be deliberately misleading. It’s trying to suggest that Takeover rules can be ignored as long as you do it through a company. The 30% rule would have been known by everyone involved and is a longstanding rullke, and it's just arrogance that King thinks it shouldn't apply to him. “the TP changed its mind and asked that the funds be placed in an account in the UK.” Did the TP really agree to have the funds in SA was satisfactory and then change their minds or is he being misleading again? I tend to think that it’s the latter. It’s also noticeable that he doesn’t say that the UK bank account has now been set up and the cash transferred. It’s been 11 weeks so I’m not sure why he hasn’t just had it all done in the mean time. Would it have taken this long for the shareholders to get their cash if the cash had remained in Sa and they had accepted his offer? “July 18, 2021” – does nobody from the club proof-read these articles?

AS in previous years I take the opportunity at the commencement of a new season to provide our supporters with an update on where the Club stands against our stated objectives. Three years ago, the Board committed to a programme of significantly increased investment in all areas to ensure that we get our team and facilities to the standard that we all expect and demand. We have had to invest more than we committed to for two main reasons...... https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/dave-king-supporter-update/

The common sense approach was trendy in Scottish courts 4-5 years ago, but they've changed back to strict interpretation.
-
On the face of it, it did, but if that was the situation, it should all be sorted by now, which presumably it isn't (although I just read it quickly).

Rod Wallace v Dortmund - 21 passes in a move that included all (?) of our outfield players. Hateley at Elland Road. Albertz v Celtic (any of them)

I had the privilege of sitting at the same table as Mr Davis at a players reunion, probably in the early 90s. I didn't know much about him then but was awe struck by him and the way he conducted himself. A total gentleman. I'm not much for autobiographies but I read his last week. What a story. Shot in the stomach and foot and spent a year in hospital. Had a tube for his bladder and a tube and pump for his bowels. 18 operations on his lower stomach. A further year doing physio and then went on to have an outstanding career for the Gers. Incredible. I was surprised that he had no time for either Baxter or Waddell. Funniest bit was him having a Sevilla player under each arm during a fight and throwing them both into the dugout. If you haven't read the book, you should do so. Harold Davis was a real Rangers legend.

I've just searched my emails and can only find mention of the vote as per OP but no record of the result. I've searched the C1872 site and can't find any mention of Fansbet, including the survey. Looks like they've quietly binned it.

It almost certainly will be. That's the way we worked with Ticketus oh the past, and the facility wasn't known about as it was always clear at the financial year end (30th June) add the season ticket cash was in by then.

Club1872 confirm £1million raised for share issue
Bluedell replied to Dragonfly Trumpeter's topic in Rangers Chat
£1m RIFC Share Issue Investment Club 1872 is delighted to announce that our investment in the upcoming RIFC share issue will be £1m. This represents another fantastic achievement for the thousands of Rangers supporters who contributed to this effort. When Club 1872 spent £1m to purchase the shares of MASH Holdings in June 2017 it was a crucial step forward for the health of Rangers Football Club and a massive boost to supporter representation. For Club 1872 to have been able to follow that up so quickly with this massive investment, which will go directly into Rangers, is a huge credit to the commitment of our supporters and their loyalty to our football club. Club 1872 Director Laura Fawkes said: “A huge thank you to all our members for their regular donations and those in our membership and the wider support who made one-off donations towards our share issue campaign. These funds will not only put more shares into the hands of Rangers supporters but will go directly into the club to assist with the rebuilding process now underway under Steven Gerrard.” “For Club 1872 to raise this level of funding purely through donations from around 7500 Rangers supporters shows the huge potential of the organisation. What we can achieve together will be determined solely by how many supporters take part. When we look at the number of supporters involved, we have only scratched the surface of the contribution that we can make to Rangers. We hope that investment into the club on this scale will show the thousands of supporters out there who have not yet joined us, that there are huge benefits of doing so.” “Club 1872 is still a young organisation and we are learning all the time but there is no question that if our support acts together we can be a formidable force, not only in pushing our football club back to where it belongs but also in making sure that the the damaging events of the past can never be repeated."
