  1. I agree to an extent. Cifu wasn't that bad, but didn't really get into the game that much. I'm not concerned if he starts but I feel that Beale may swap him with Lundstram.
  2. Same team as home leg, although he may swap Lundstram for Cifuentes. Matondo may be kept on the bench to hit them later when they tire.
  3. PSV 3 Rangers 1 Dessers
  4. King still has to do a bit of improving until he's ready for our first team. Hopefully he'll go somewhere that he can get a regular start.
  5. Even if we were to go back to the 7,000 fans, ours couldn't really be seen at Parkhead anyway, so I'm not sure how much it makes it that much more attractive. It's a very one-sided arrangement. To get a better TV deal, the priority has to be getting changes at the SPFL, or it won't matter either way.
  6. They just don't care about that. It's crazy and short-sighted. Scottish football is hating itself into oblivion.
  7. So we would give St Mirren 750 tickets as that's what the section holds, and in return we'd only be entitled to 118 fans?
  8. Some would have Hateley away based on his performances for the first couple of months. They would have had Ally away during his "Ally, Ally GTF" period. There's obviously an expectation that when you move to a different league in a different country with a unique playing and refereeing style that you should be instantly be wonderful, whether you're fully fit or not. Things were a lot simpler and people a lot more reasoned before the hysteria caused by social media.
  9. Hagi has never really been a nailed on starter for us, and I don't think he'd be one under most managers with the current squad. A good player to use on occasions or to bring off the bench, but he needs first team games so a loan is an excellent idea in principle.
  10. Agreed. It seems crazy that we'd let him go on loan without one. I was thinking at least £1 million.
  11. But I thought we were considering moving the UBs to the Copland next season?
  12. If our stadium was bigger than theirs, you'd be happy for them to get more tickets than we got from them? Or is it just a good argument when it suits us? 😂
  13. They think that accusing us of killing our club is the way to get us to change our minds over their ticket allocation? And just in case we had forgotten that their support is full of the scum of society, they decided to bring the banner out in the 66th minute. The banner and the group behind it are fully sanctioned and supported by their club and their directors. Hopefully Bisgrove quickly realises that their club is a disease from top to bottom and never returns to the negotiating table.
  14. If he believes that Scotland would be financially better off being independent then you have to question his financial acumen.
  15. Yeah, very low risk.
  16. Ross County 0 Rangers 2 Roofe (edited at 11.35am)
  17. Am I right in saying the BC is just guys who want to join the UBs but haven't qualified yet? Who founded TBO? Was it Sie?
  18. These were all started by guys in their 20s or early 30s. It's not really practical for guys in their 40s, 50s and 60s to do something constructive. 🙂 Agreed.
  19. Because they don't want to, or don't have the ability to? It shouldn't stop people giving their opinion on it, just because others don't bother, even though I accept it can be frustrating if you're one of the ones putting in the effort to create the tifo/atmosphere. The UBs are obviously trying to be edgy and presumably wouldn't expect everyone in the support to like everything they do. Personally I didn't particularly like the Bill banner as it meant nothing to me. I didn't have a clue who it was (I thought it was meant to be Billy Fullerton 😂), unlike the Eddie and Baseball ones that we had previously.
  20. There's obviously been a lot of speculation about the alleged £1m compensation/cancellation fee that we have received for not buying Tillman. I was just listening to Davie Edgar on today's Daily Update and he described it differently, and I hadn't heard this take before. We indicated that we wanted to buy him and Bayern immediately activated the buy-back clause that they had built in so effectively we got the difference, which was around £1m. This makes sense and it probably a more realistic take on what happened. In addition, there is a sell-on fee so we would get a percentage of the €14m(?) fee that PSV have agreed with Bayern.
  21. While some of the individual performances weren't all we could hope for, as a team I think we did perform well, particularly given the quality of the opposition. I'd agree about the pressing generally although there were times during the game when we did do it well. The likes of Cantwell and Dessers showed that they can keep going. Our passing, particularly by the midfield 3 was unusually poor and hopefully it'll improve next week with another game under our belts.
  22. Goldson and Souttar played well. Souttar was a wee bit unlucky with their second goal. Cantwell played well but was lucky not to get a second yellow. I thought Sima and Dessers both did well as well, although I've heard quite a few people slagging them off but I obviously watched a different game. I'm giving it to Dessers too.
  23. In what way are they out of context? if the whole thing was faked then it would have taken a couple of days to establish that and the whole thing would have been put to bed rather than take over 18 months to sort out. I'm not saying that he should be punished for the rest of career, but it certainly appears that there's a whitewash going on. The 2 main differences are that the evidence in these cases weren't plastered all over social media by the victim and Rangers didn't attempt to claim anyone's innocence. I accept that they are difficult cases but I just disagree with how Man Utd have handled it.
  24. I don't believe that he was found innocent. The case was dropped due to "withdrawal of key witnesses and new material that came to light". It's hard to prosecute if his fiancé, being the only witness, withdraws. There appears to me to be some emotional coercion involved. We've heard the tape and seen the pics of what he did.
  25. So they asked his fiancé (the victim) who has been coerced into retracting her statement and Man Utd conclude that he didn't do what the tape clearly shows he did. I always thought Man Utd had an element of class about them but they've lost a whole load of respect from me over this whitewash, which is obviously an attempt to maximise his transfer value. Scummy behaviour.
