  1. Have the Record not been fairly spot on with everything relating to Rangers over the past few months?
  2. Will it not get used towards ensuring that we can survive until the end of the season? Will it not get used to prevent job losses within the club?
  3. Must hit ...............and breath. Must hit ...............and breath. Must hit ...............and breath.
  4. The results of a bank's money laundering checks doesn't prove or disprove the legality or otherwise of agreements entered into by Whyte.
  5. I'd argue that he didn't have the ability to overspend. However I think I understand the point that you are making and I guess we will never know. The bottom line is that Murray had to OK all the spending. In 2006 (4 years after Advocaat left) our net debt was under £6m. 3 years later it had risen to £31m.
  6. It's not Advocaat's job to know the finances of the club or to consider them. He is given his budget and he has to work within that. Are you saying that a manager should overrule a chairman when it comes to how much money he should spend? My information is that the amount of money spent on Flo was nothing to do with Advocaat and it was more of a Murray ego trip (although I'll leave you to decide how credible that is. I'm not 100% sure as to its accuracy). Anyway the level of debt when Advocaat stood down as manager was cleared by the subsequent share issue, so how can he possibly be a contributing factor to the current financial problems?
  7. It was in one of the interviews that the administrators did last night. Probably the BBC one. The link is further down the front page.
  8. There is no doubt. The administrators have confirmed that he is not a creditor.
  9. If that was to happen then all I can say is
  10. He can't be a secured creditor if he isn't a creditor.
  11. Given that it seems Naismith and Whittaker agreed their deals after it was posted, perhaps there was some truth to it? I am positive it was Boss that posted it. It's obviously up to everyone to assess the accuracy of the post. My take on it is that the news was one-sided and I'm sure that the players would have a different view on it, which would result in the administrators being criticised. There was obviously some negotiations being carried out by some players as they are quite entitled to do and as long as the end result is achieved then I'm not bothered about some reasonable quid pro quo. All the players who agree to the cuts are helping their club, helping the fans and helping a lot of the other employees, and there can be nothing but praise for them for doing so.
  12. Leave it where it is. It's good that it's being discussed as a separate issue.
  13. What I've been saying for a while.
  14. He is not making it up and several on here can vouch for him. However, whether what he has been told is correct is obviously the question and there's no guarantee. Games are being played on all sides and it's possible that the info that Boss was given was incorrect for a reason.
  15. They may not, and I agree with your sentiment. Boss was fairly quick to imply that McGregor wasn't one of them, so it ended up being fairly clear who he meant.
  16. That'd be because the article came from Boss.
  17. The implication is that it is Whittaker, Naismith, Davis and Lafferty.
  18. I interpret what he is saying differently from you, and I think that you're both correct.
  19. I think that you are basically saying the same thing.
  20. Got to love these carrot and stick statements. Get the fans' emotions up then down then up so that they don't know what is happening.
  21. Out of interest, why obviously not you (or did I miss that part of the joke)?
  22. If Whyte is not owed anything then the security is worthless, so the whole premise of their argument falls down.
  23. WTF? What have they got do with it?
  24. Don't have the time to go through your lengthy post, mate. We're obviously looking at things totally differently, and it'd probably take too much time for us to convince each other on something that may end up not being that different. Much easier to discuss it over a beer than on a thread. Let me know if you'e ever up in this neck of the woods.
