  1. I remember that we signed a French (?) winger who was very slow and ended up being a waste of space. My fear was that we were going down the same route but it sounds as if he's not too bad.
  2. I've read that Skov Olsen doesn't have that much speed. Does anyone know if that's true?
  3. Aberdeen 1 - 2 Rangers FGS Morelos
  4. I've just checked my covid passport and it's been updated with the booster I got last week. I'm getting a QR code on the Scottish screen in he same way as I did before. I've also checked my son's, who hasn't had the booster, and he's also getting a QR code, so the only way to tell if someone has a booster is to go into the international travel part of the passport. Are they going to do the checks by looking at the international section, as looking at the QR code which they did previously doesn't prove you've got your booster?
  5. I can't see us spending £7m on one player, given the ongoing losses at the club and the fact that the funding appears to have largely dried up and we're now mainly relying on loans that need to be repaid.
  6. Lundstrom has suffered from the change in formation under Gio. He can't play as an attacking midfielder. That's just not his game. I'd look on him as being cover for Kamara as the sitting midfielder, and he could do a reasonable job, but now that Sands has joined it seems as if he's fallen down the packing order, unless the club are looking at selling Kamara.
  7. You mean she HAS had sex with a man? You sure?
  8. I really don't think there's much in it. Tav gets the game time and is therefore match fitter. From a medium term footballing viewpoint, it's a backwards move as Patterson could be our RB for the next 10 years, but we need the cash now and we need to win the league this season and Tav is the safer bet, so Patterson has to go, but I'm gutted about it.
  9. I thought Hagi played a lot better in the second half when he was playing more in the middle. I read that the back 4 change was due to Dundee Utd having a different formation than expected, but I think it was partly Tav looking uncertain in the middle. Kamara looked lost in the attacking midfield position so he was moved back and Lundstram pushed up. Both are defensive midfielders so neither looked comfortable playing as part of the attacking midfielders. Lundstram looked OK when he was playing as the defensive midfielder and is cover for that position but he can't play as one of the attackers in the midfield V that Gio seems to like.
  10. I don't think King is that relevant. He just wants to sell his shares.
  11. I'd have preferred Beale to have said nothing. If there was something that caused him/them to leave then either come out and tell us or shut TF up. As for trying to use their (great) record the previous season to excuse virtually the whole coaching staff leaving just before an important cup semi, it just doesn't stand up. He should be acknowledging that they did a pretty crappy thing, rather than trying to excuse it.
  12. Rangers 3 - 0 Dundee Utd Morelos
  13. Maybe 'leak' isn't the right word, but he's certainly feeding stories to the Record and the Sun.
  14. Given he voted against the club having the ability to raise additional funds and against the reappointment of Graeme Park, I doubt that the board will be interested in reappointing him as a director.
  15. Probably the hardest draw we could get.
  16. There's romance in qualifying for the next round.
  17. The feeling of negativity has already been developed, from his misleading (at best) comments in trying to encourage fans to invest in the C1872 share issue rather than allowing their funds to go to the club, to charging interest on his loan (I'm not convinced he had to do that), to him now trying to limit the club's ability to raise further funds. That doesn't take away everything that he's done for the club, for which we will always be grateful, and yes, he's now entitled to pursue his personal interests but when they are against the best interest of the club then we are, in turn, entitled to criticise him.
  18. Agreed, but the board made similar noises 2 years ago, and there's been no progress, but other (vanity) projects such as Edmiston House have got off the ground. Everyone, anyone?
