  1. I thought Hagi played a lot better in the second half when he was playing more in the middle. I read that the back 4 change was due to Dundee Utd having a different formation than expected, but I think it was partly Tav looking uncertain in the middle. Kamara looked lost in the attacking midfield position so he was moved back and Lundstram pushed up. Both are defensive midfielders so neither looked comfortable playing as part of the attacking midfielders. Lundstram looked OK when he was playing as the defensive midfielder and is cover for that position but he can't play as one of the attackers in the midfield V that Gio seems to like.
  2. I don't think King is that relevant. He just wants to sell his shares.
  3. I'd have preferred Beale to have said nothing. If there was something that caused him/them to leave then either come out and tell us or shut TF up. As for trying to use their (great) record the previous season to excuse virtually the whole coaching staff leaving just before an important cup semi, it just doesn't stand up. He should be acknowledging that they did a pretty crappy thing, rather than trying to excuse it.
  4. Rangers 3 - 0 Dundee Utd Morelos
  5. Maybe 'leak' isn't the right word, but he's certainly feeding stories to the Record and the Sun.
  6. Given he voted against the club having the ability to raise additional funds and against the reappointment of Graeme Park, I doubt that the board will be interested in reappointing him as a director.
  7. Probably the hardest draw we could get.
  8. There's romance in qualifying for the next round.
  9. The feeling of negativity has already been developed, from his misleading (at best) comments in trying to encourage fans to invest in the C1872 share issue rather than allowing their funds to go to the club, to charging interest on his loan (I'm not convinced he had to do that), to him now trying to limit the club's ability to raise further funds. That doesn't take away everything that he's done for the club, for which we will always be grateful, and yes, he's now entitled to pursue his personal interests but when they are against the best interest of the club then we are, in turn, entitled to criticise him.
  10. Agreed, but the board made similar noises 2 years ago, and there's been no progress, but other (vanity) projects such as Edmiston House have got off the ground. Everyone, anyone?
  11. Given the %s involved, we can be fairly sure it's King. I'd doubt that dilution is the main reason for it, and more that it increases his chances of getting cash for his shares.
  12. It's disappointing that King is trying to limit the club's ability to raise funds.
  13. He's played well for Scotland when he's played. A goal and an assist in his last game shows he's in form. He's played well for us when played as well. His deliveries are more consistent than Tav's. I fail to see the point you're making about mistakes. There were plenty on show yesterday, which shows that the players picked are not on form, so why not pick someone who is?
  14. I don't see that being frustrated about Gerrard leaving and stripping the club almost all backroom staff means that you're playing the victim. When do Rangers managers voluntarily leave with their backroom staff? We're top of the league, still with a great chance of getting out the European group stage and our next game is a SF, and yet we've been "pish" and if we carried on like we have been everyone would be calling for Gerrard to go? Who is coming up with conspiracy nonsense? If you feel that we are better off with Gerrard leaving, why weren't you calling for his sacking?
  15. Who were the other Rangers managers that voluntarily left during a season?
  16. I felt betrayed by Souness, and while that feeling has largely gone, it hasn't completely. However Souness did offer to stay until the end of the session and Souness didn't take the whole background staff. What Gerrard has done is far worse than Souness. I understand why he has done it, but that doesn't take away my resentment, because he has shafted the club due to the timing.
  17. If there are overrides based on future cumulative sales then payments wouldn't be accrued. I've become sceptical about payments above the minimum when we didn't get anything extra from the JJB deal in 2008 when we reached Manchester. I didn't hear the podcast so I didn't have any expectation as to what the figure would have been but would have been shocked if it was as high as £8m.
