Yeah, I guess Boyd comes on with something to prove? If he started playing every week he'd probably get lazy. We need a good forward (better than Miller) and a decent creative midfielder or 2... although Davis through the middle could be good for us if this deal goes through. Beasely could be good for us, he did show some quality before he got injured so hopefully he can keep that up. I think Novo is better as a sub, same boat as Boyd I suppose, something to prove when he comes on. Could do with a good attacking right winger though, Burke just doesn't have what it takes anymore. I hope WS will bring in a few decent signing's and get rid of some dead weight!

He seems to have managed to bag a fair few goals though, for not being able to play the loan striker. I think the problem with this Rangers team is that no one can see where we will get a goal from, Novo would probably be our best bet but even he will miss a good few before eventually putting one away, Big Darcheville can score them but he doesn't play a full game for us...Cousin... The less said about him the better! We dont get alot of goals from our Midfield either so we need someone up front who can put the ball in the net and I done think that we are going to get that with Miller.

I for one will be very pissed off if signing Miller now stops Boyd from getting played. OK Boyd doesn't run about as much, but, he does score goals and if we are going with one up front again this year then I'd rather that one up front would by the guy that can stick the ball in the net, not some fanny who runs around for 90 min's but never scores! What I don't understand is the part about Dundee Utd. how could they have done anything to help us and why should they be brought in to our fight with the SPL/SFA? Not allowing away fans will hit us in the pocket aswell, bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face really.

Fergie has let the team down this season, he's supposed to be our best midfielder but his performance's have been well below the standard that we have come to expect from him, he's not an attacking mid by any means but he always wants to push up and you can see that he wont just play central mid he wants to go forward and that's when he'll loose the ball and leave a gap where he should be

Yeah, I'm not sure what the deal with Northern Spirit was I think we gave them alot of cash, like we were there sponsor and they had the RFC crest where the sponsor logo would normally go, I thought we were on to a good thing with the Barca thing tough and financially the deal with the asian club would have been good for us.

This is a bit stupid, they are not getting to play C/L football due to debt but had they been allowed to play in the C/L then they could be looking at millions to pay some of the debt off?

Funny you should say that as I was speaking to a mate of mine about this, what ever happened to the link we had with Barcelona? I'm sure we had a link with them that we could pick the best of their young talent and loan them for a year or something... never heard anything more about it, also the link we had with the asian team with the bright orange and silver top? we also had Northern Spirit in Australia but we pulled out of that and they eventually died, seems a shame if all these links have broke down because we could have had some really good players.

I heard around the place that the deal is done, �£1.5 million... not sure if its true or not but a few different people told me that over the weekend, he was only at derby because WS didn't want to sign him straight from Celtic. Apparently the chat was that Boyd would head off to Derby as part of the deal but I cant see that though. I hope it's not true Miller coming back to Rangers is a joke after even wearing the green 'n' white of that mhob never mind the badge kissing, surely we can get a better striker then him?
