  1. Agreed, Miller to do the work and Boyd to stick it in the back of the net.
  2. Thank you!!
  3. The point I was making is getting lost here.... Its not what he said, its the way he said it I suppose, to come out and say that fans opinions don't matter at a time when supporters are not happy anyway isn't very good in my opinion.
  4. He does not have to "consult" anyone, but when there is such an obvious disregard for a player that at the time we were only talking about signing, for walter to come out and say that the supporters opinions dont matter is a bit cheeky. My point was not about signings or whom WS should seek advice from, the point I was making is that when there are still some supporters angry that Miller signed, walter shouldn't be coming out with things like that.
  5. hahaha, Nice...:fish:
  6. no, but a bit or decorum from our manager would be nice, What he has said is that we can have an opinion but it wont matter a fuck... Walter knows what he is doing and RE Miller, I was not happy at the time but the man is a Ranger (again) and I will back him. Rangers supporters make the club what it is, we provide the wages, therefore, our opinion should be taken in to account.
  7. http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1039747/Leave-Kenny-Rangers-manager-Smith-tells-Millers-critics-grip.html?ITO=1490 One quote here that gets me " That's an opinion - mine is different and it is mine that matters. That is how I look upon it. Every supporter is entitled to think what he wants." Kind of pig headed Walt... considering that should we Rangers fans stop going to Ibrox, Stop buying the strips, Stop Buying the season tickets, then Your opinion wouldn't matter either, whilst in line at the dole office!
  8. Its a link to play the game through your PC, audio only.
  9. No one likes us, we don't care!! I would have thought that the Chelsea head hunters would have been bigger than Rangers hooligans? anyway, the hell with what they think we will find out where they live and put their windeees in!!!! lol!
  10. Not only is that with the Euro run but also the £9 million we got from Hutton... I dont understand why we cant afford £4 million for a midfielder who would, as I see it, be the perfect replacement for Barry (and not just til he's back from injury either!) :uzi:
  11. Funny for some not for Fraser:flash: lol
  12. Does it make me a bad person? LOL
  13. THOSE BAST*RDS!! :uzi: If only I had known before I got sky...
  14. yep, I'd be happy to cough up my hard earned for that, simple but effective.
  15. Done mean to be ignorant but why do you say Sky is evil? I Have sky+ and have never had a problem also have the phone and internet package, again, never a problem and when ever I need to contact them I always get through without having to hold for half an hour and its always a british call centre as well which makes life a hell of a lot easier! Have setanta through sky and like wise no issues although sometimes you get the odd black screen but nothing major!
  16. A very odd situation indeed... Why sign him then put him up for sale right away? Then he comes out with the above?? his career has been weird since he left hearts. I just hope we get some sort of use out of him, so far we have paid him for nothing, and that's never a good thing, but, more so in the current position that we are in with cash flow.
  17. WALTER SMITH has told Kris Boyd he wants him to stay at Rangers - and guaranteed the striker a major role in his new-look side. Boyd is being chased by Championship outfit Cardiff who are expected to increase the s2.5million offer they had rejected on Friday night. The Scotland star does not want to leave Ibrox despite the arrival of three new hitmen and feels he can help Gers win the SPL and make an impact in the Champions League next season. Boss Smith shares that view and held a heart-to-heart with the player to assure him he will be a key man. The Gers gaffer knows Boyd guarantees at least 25 goals a season and won't authorise his sale. A source close to Boyd told MailSport: "Kris thought he may have to leave but has been assured he is in the manager's plans and is delighted because quitting Rangers is the last thing he wants. "Kris can now focus on helping Rangers and improving his own game. "The past few days have been unsettling but he now knows the situation and is happy the gaffer wants him." It is more likely Daniel Cousin will be offloaded for around s2.5million and Jean-Claude Darcheville may also be heading for the exit. Rangers have spent more than s6m in the past week to land Kenny Miller, Andrius Velicka and Kyle Lafferty. But rather than being surplus to requirements, Boyd will be given the chance to partner Miller up front, particularly in home games. Darcheville's future is now in real doubt yet he insists he'll still be at Ibrox next term to fight for a starting slot. The Frenchman said: "The fact Rangers have signed three strikers doesn't worry me - it excites me. "If we can strengthen all positions we'll have a strong squad and at a big club you need competition for places. "I love Rangers and am settled here. I don't want to leave." Meanwhile, Gers have snubbed three SPL clubs who want Alan Gow - despite trying to flog him to Burnley as part of the Lafferty deal. Dundee United, Motherwell and Aberdeen have all made enquiries but Ibrox chiefs would rather sell the 25-year-old to England. Gow will return for preseason training on Thursday but his future lies away from Ibrox and several Championship clubs could move in. **From sunday mail**
  18. http://www.newspostleader.co.uk/sunderlandafc/Rangers-look-to-improve-defender39s.4192330.jp Good news!
  19. I reckon this is a good move for Gow, shame he never got his chance after bursting on the the scene at Falkirk but I think this move will get his career back on track. Good luck to him.
  20. The last thing we would need is him playing for Spain and breaking his bloody leg... And lets face it... It's possible!!
  21. Seems like the RST are not happy with the new fixture list... http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1873_3698607,00.html
  22. Veteran French defender Lilian Thuram has announced that both Celtic and Rangers are interested in signing him this summer. Thuram, 36, is set to leave Barcelona for pastures new before the start of next season. And the former Juventus star is mulling over a possible move to Glasgow ââ?¬â?? as well as offers from other clubs, including Paris St Germain. He said: ââ?¬Å?There are a number of things that could interest me, most notably going to PSG or maybe another club too. ââ?¬Å?There are clubs in Italy, England and even in Scotland that could be interested.ââ?¬Â No thanks... Pension book waiting at Ibrox!!
  23. We need to cough up cash only for that deal... not sure if its exactly set in stone anymore, I think WS was wanting to use Cousin as part of the deal but they done want him now. C'mon Walter, get the cheque book out!
  24. http://www.sundaymail.co.uk/sport-news/scottish-football/2008/06/15/move-to-rangers-has-me-in-dreamland-says-andrius-velicka-78057-20608175/ Looks like it's all confirmed if you believe the rags... Reckon should be a good signing.
  25. I have to agree with Gribz on the 'wishing one of our own players and injury' thing... yes we have re-signed a player that not very many of us want to wear a Rangers strip again for £2million but at least we have another body on the park if nothing else for that money... if he gets a multiple fracture then we'd have been as well donating £2million to charity. We have paid good money here so we might as well get some sort of use out of him!
