i was wondering about centre backs; we seem to have 2 top players for each position (e.g. Arfield/Docherty or Tav/Polster) but only 3 CBs to whit Katic, Goldson and Edmundson. Would be good if Mayo is promoted from the academy. He is also left-sided.

Only for players moving between English clubs. No English club will pay£30 m for a Scottish League player. The best we can do is to ensure we get a lucrative sell-on fee like the Keltic did with Van Dyck and others. As long as our teams keep getting turfed out of Europe before Christmas then that disdain for our domestic football will remain.

Must have missed that about Dorrans going. Clearly injury has done for him as it did for Rossiter. Holt did a good stop gap job but we need to step up a level now. I think SG sees the midfield as the area to build around.
