  1. That's very interesting. Especially, if rumour has it, that Stavros is planning to ship a barrow load of them over here to beef up his squad!😜
  2. Rangers 2 Dundee Utd. 0 FGS: Morelos
  3. Yes. If he is booked today he would miss OF game.
  4. Rangers 1 St. Johnstone 0 FGS: Morelos
  5. Hearts 1 Rangers 2 FGS: Arfield
  6. But wouldn't the reindeer get eaten? possibly Santa as well?
  7. Rangers 2 Dundee 0 FGS: Fashion Jr.
  8. Good start, good finish, the bit in the middle a bit ropy! Great 3 points though. When was the last time we scored 3 goals on their Drastic Plastic?
  9. Livingston 0 Rangers 2 FGS: Morelos
  10. Rangers 1 Sparta Prague 0 FGS: Morelos
  11. Yes. I thought the same when I saw it. Quite a nice touch. Both his boys are huge bluenoses!
  12. What a great interview. Really impressed by Ross Wilson. I would rather lose Gerrard than lose him!
  13. Fantastic news! Welcome home Gio. Well done to Ross Wilson and co for all their efforts. Securing a new manager within a week or so, and leading the media a fine merry dance in the process! ?
  14. Absolutely correct. I've seen Aribo, Kamara and Kent all linked with moves to Villa in the last couple of hours alone. It's all clickbait and soundbites with no substance at all. I also don't buy into this school of thought that Gerrard knows details of all the players release clauses either. Generally speaking contracts will be drawn up with player, agent and DOF. Commercial in confidence. The manager may well be alerted when a bid is made, but it's ridiculous to think he has a little black book or the like so he can shaft us should there be a bid from Villa for one of our players.
  15. I found these contrasting posts interesting. I certainly favour the latter. Why would we alienate ourselves from Villa? For me it is not about demanding silly money. It is about achieving fair market price for our player(s). Surely if Gerrard is interested in taking any of our players he knows the market price and Villa will have to stump up. Contrast that to Everton's approach for Pattison? As the post above states, we need to sell soon to help balance the books. It's a no brainer. There seems to be a lot congeniality on both sides with this. The club did not try to block it and I assume the board found the compensation package acceptable? We need to use it to our advantage. Villa must have a huge, expensive 1st team squad. Loan deals or makeweight player exchanges perhaps? Cannot see any benefit of snubbing Villa if they want to do business.
  16. I think your bracketed comment at the end is testimony to what a fine young coach he is! They are in superb form and leading the division. I do agree however it is probably too early in his career and would probably rebound on him badly if it went T's up!
  17. Joining this thread 5 pages in has some advantages. Some quality posts here with good sound reasoning (I've dismissed one or two "moon howlers" - you know who you are by the votes!) I can see the logic of Beale attracting votes (a la Walter's succession) but it ain't gonna happen. The best fit of those listed is GVB (also tutored by Pep as someone already stated) but I really like KT. His comments on RTV commentary are always spot on. Also like NMcC for his tactical awareness. Be great if there was a role for either or both? Voted for GVB but it could also be a left field RW appointment!
  18. No apology necessary BSRT. It's all about opinions. I take your point on Cullibaly. I hope your diamond prediction bears fruit. As he says, he's here to learn. I wish him well.
  19. Indeed. I only heard the final 30 mins of their "production". A bit surprised to hear Kenny Miller has joined their ranks. Apparently back from Oz now, he was fairly glowing in his praise of our performance, so big Dick was fawning appropriately. Interestingly, news had just broken of Peter Grant's dismissal at the Pars. Kenny did not miss the opportunity to make a big plug for the vacancy! There was a quick review of yesterday's action but unsurprisingly no mention of Kyogo's outrageous simulation that lead to the penalty!
