The more this develops the more certain I am that this season, both domestically and internationally, will not be finished. All it will take is a couple of players to have symptoms and they have to self-isolate, forcing those matches to be postponed. The backlog and lack of catch up dates will force all competitions to be abandoned. There is no way sport should be proceeding with these athletes, together with staff, officials, their families, all being put at risk just to fulfill a fixture. If some sides are weakened, for the sake of sporting integrity, the 2019-20 season has to be abandoned with no champions, relegation, playoffs etc. We rip this season up and start again when it is safe to do so in the second half of 2020. Sport is not more important than life, especially when we are trailing in the league and out the cup. Cheerio to 9IAR......

With 19-20 being cancelled, the European places for 20-21 will be the same as at the start of 19-20.

Reluctantly voted for Aribo, who at least had something about him in an otherwise dull first half. McGregor had two routine saves to make, their keeper had far more. Had either of those save not been made, I would have been criticising McGregor for conceding soft goals. Davis was the one that stood out for me, but not in a good way. he was far too deep, taking the ball of the CH, and giving it square to someone else. And repeat. And repeat. No high pressing, no incisive passing to split the County defence, no shooting, nada. Basically the exact same performance as he put in against Hearts and Hamilton. Needs dropped immediately, but wont be. If their was a DOTM award (diddy of the match) then Davis gets it this time. Sadly it has been easier to pick DOTM than MOTM in recent weeks.

All football, and indeed all sport should be scrapped until this is all over. I am not one to jump on the over-reaction bandwagon, and I am aware that normal winter flu will kill far more people this winter than this virus ever will, but in view of all the facts available and the spread of this across the world with people told not to congregate, shake hands etc, then surely the players and spectators safety must come first. Footballers are sweating, spitting, having physical contact with other players, basically every single thing we are being told to avoid. Fans will be jumping about when goals are scored, coming into contact with those all around them, both in the ground, in the local bars etc, and on transport. The only sensible precaution is to cancel the remainder of the 2019-20 season, declare it null and void, and hopefully everyone will be able to start again in the second half of 2020 with the start of the 2020-21 season. FIFA should be taking the lead here, followed by other world sporting bodies and the local associations across all sports. Playing games behind closed doors does not protect the players, staff, officials, or fans who go to public spaces to watch the games on tv. Locally, it would be perfect for us as Rangers supporters to bin the entire season, and start again in August! No Quadruple treble, no 9IAR. That would be as good as we can expect. So come on Corona virus, get a move on and ensure this season doesn't end, ever! If the SFA tried to declare the current positions as the final positions, we must take them to court as must Hearts, Hamilton, and everyone else who would be affected by this. There is about 25% of the season remaining, nothing is decided, and can not be decided by an interim league table. It's all about sporting integrity you know!

30 minutes in and it’s dreadfully dull stuff. We are in total control and have had a few chances and half-chances but we just don’t look threatening enough or creative enough in the final third and we look very nervous in defence. badly need a goal or 2 to settle us down.

The existing board members should not be backing anybody apart from themself. To actively endorse another candidate smacks of cronyism and shouldn’t be allowed. A timely example of the reason new blood is required to keep C1872 from getting too cliquey.

Agreed @Bill, that trio have been fantastically consistent all season but all ended up all having a total nightmare in the same game.

Polster done more in 45 than the rest in 90, so he gets the nod and I hope he gets to keep the jersey until Tav is fit, and then is the clear second choice ahead of Flanagan who the more I see the more I wonder what the hell he is doing at our club, absolutely useless, cant defend, cant tackle (see yellow card yesterday), cant go forward, makes other players around him look very nervous.
