And that is exactly the defence to be used on 6th Feb. Our behaviour was no more than getting a little excited after our first win at the midden of our rivals in many years. Remind me how much Hibs got fined after the SC final, or how much the bheasts got fined after every victory against us when they can help themselves but shove it in our faces? We should get exactly the same fine as that.

The Winter 2019/20 Transfer Window Rumours and Deals - Thread

Good luck to Thistle and Zak this weekend, I have only just found out that they entertain the bheasts this weekend in cup action. I genuinely had no idea who they got until 5 minutes ago. I just assume it is lower league opponents at home every time there is a cup draw, and I'm right far more often than i'm wrong! -
I have to agree with that @Bluedell, I look at Bertie Bombscare the same way I look at Sebo, a very expensive and embarrassing flop despite being a bit of a cult figure amongst fans. The summer signings of Konterman & Ricksen was the beginning of the end for Advocaat, his arrogance and stubbornness to drop both despite causing no end of trouble and goals conceded, and unrest in the dressing room, even before considering the £8M+ outlay on both was an absolute disaster and was a gift to MO'N and the bheasts across the city who went on to win the treble that season. His rocket at Hampden will always be remembered fondly, moreso as the bheasts were encouraging him to shoot, and I dare say he will have some good stories of the team at that time as he does come over as fairly intelligent but I certainly wouldnt be stopping for a photo with him!

I have been a member of the Nithsdale Loyal bus for over 30 years and there must be 10-15 guys on it that have been on it longer than me! I used to live in the area as a teenager when I joined, and due to it being a short 10 minute journey to Ibrox the bus doesn’t go to home games at all, so when I moved up to Tannochside in 2007 I joined the Tannochside bus then and go to home games with them. Both are great, really well run buses, no booze, no smoking, reliable and great value. The difficulty of trying to park around Ibrox is well known, as is the mile long subway queue, so the buses are a great way to go to games, and that’s before you take into account the great banter, friendship and match discussion you get on the buses. A couple of beers before the game and in the club after the game is also a great way to enjoy a match day, although I admit I don’t do this very often myself. I would recommend using your local RSC if you have one.

Thanks for posting all the clips @ian1964, top man! The goals were nicely taken, although it has to be said the opponent would struggle to give a decent pub team a game from the look of them. As always, all I want from these type of games is to get through it without any injuries, and pick up some sharpness where required. Given we last played only 2 weeks ago, it is just like an international break so I dont think we really needed a game at all, but I acknowledge SG's comments that he just wanted to get 45 minutes of pitch time for all the squad while they are out in Dubai. We can now start the countdown to Stranraer, and then a massive run of oh-so-important league games to build on our good first half of the season.

Club1872 Shares CIC Articles of Association
Tannochsidebear replied to BEARGER's topic in Rangers Chat
What they never tell you is how many people voted. The results of all these votes are only ever published in percentage of votes cast format. I would be more interested to hear the turnout, and actual votes for and against. Not particularly for this motion, but all the votes they put forward. They have several thousand members, do they even get 1000 voters? -
I have just read the article and I still have no idea who they are or what they will do for us. Surely the whole point of the big launch and article would be to create awareness for AMS amongst the Rangers fans worldwide, but that did nothing to explain what I or any of my fellow Bears could ever use AMS for. Very confusing but I’m guessing they are pumping money into the club so fair enough.

Like last year, we have got ourselves into a title winning position at the break. What happened last year should act as a warning to us that it only gets tougher the closer you get to the finish, and the time to starta run of victories is now. Our league fixtures up to the split are; St Mirren H Hearts A Ross County H Dolly H Hibs H Killie A Livvy H St Johnstone A Hamilton H Ross Cty A Bheasts H St Mirren A Motherwell H With one game still to be rearranged (I think its St Johnstone at home) Hearts away, Dolly & Bheasts at home apart (all traditionally difficult games), these SHOULD all be fairly straightforward victories, but only IF we avoid the complacency and loss of form to several players that befell us last January-March and ruined our season at the same time that the bheasts managed to kick on and put a run of victories together. We have managed to put in a much improved first half of the season, but so did our title rivals, so who hits the ground running on the resumption will go a long way to deciding the outcome of the title.

Wow, when you see it like that it is absolutely unbelievable. Add in Aribo getting his shirt almost ripped off yesterday. This is exactly what our broadcast media and sports channels should be highlighting and asking why this keeps happening against one club time and time again. But instead, complete silence.....

My recollection was we were exactly as boring, negative and anti-football as we see from the likes of Killie in our Euro run of 2008. Our tactic from our own bye kicks were to launch it high to McCulloch on the wing at the halfway line and we didnt actually care if we won the ball or not, just that we were not going to be exposed on the counter if we lost it. This was well documented and admitted by Walter, and it frustrated the hell out of most of us at the time. -
But they will defend talentless thugs like Brown, sectarian louts like Lennon, and racist scum like Griffiths. They are well suited to each other that lot. I thank my lucky stars every day in life that i'm not one of them.

It looks like complete and total overkill by the police. Are we living in the worlds most dangerous city? There are 800 fans going to a game of football. Are we saying that the only way this can be policed is in this fashion? Its an absolute disgrace, and no wonder fans are turning away from going to games when they are treated worse than cattle, told when they must arrive and when they must leave, they are not allowed to stand and chat outside, they are not allowed to travel from any other direction other than the one the police tell them to, and anything outside of these rules will see them not allowed into the ground in time to see the game. And of course fans are charged over 40% premium on ticket prices to be treated in this way!! I'm glad I gave up going to this fixture a decade ago when prices got to £40. Nothing beats going to your biggest rival's ground and beating them for atmosphere and pure adrenalin, but they sure are trying everything they can to take this away from the fans. best of luck to our 800 who decide to put up with all of the above to go and see the match, only a victory will come close to making it worthwhile.

Trying to take some positives out of this, I thought Aribo played well, Davis & Jack were superb first half, Morelos looked a threat throughout. We played some beautiful stuff for 40 mins until we went on our suicide mission. If we can replicate that on Sunday ( and Barasic is fit) we can be confident of overcoming Collum & his fellow cheating chunts. However none of the back 4 or keeper would get pass marks, Kent has to contribute more in games like this when you want your big money buy to show up and grab the game himself, Arfield linked up well for 30 mins then fell out it. For all the praise SG has rightfully had this season, he has also had a stinker tonight with his subs or lack of, his inability to change things second half when we needed something different, and leaving Defoe on the bench when we are desperate for a goal is beyond belief. -

Flanagan should be freed in January (or sooner). He costs us goals every single time he plays. If he plays on Sunday, we lose. It’s that simple. If Barasic plays tonight we win 4-0 -

Sorry @Frankie but while we can certainly say we defended comically, to say there is nobody to blame but ourselves when the referee has had by far the biggest influence in the game by not sending off Cosgrove in first half for several bookable offences, and a stonewall penalty which he is only 2 yards away from is just nonsense mate. Cheatin Beatons one-sided handling of this game, yet again where Rangers are concerned it must be said, was absolutely the main reason we did not win the game. Do you think Morelos would have been afforded the same amount of fouls and remain on the park? Of course not, so he has cheated us yet again out of important points. Something has to be done with Cheats like Beaton, Collum etc. -

FT 2-2 a shocking let off from an overwhelmingly superior position, absolutely disgusting defending. the main talking point should be the penalty not given, but it won’t be.
