  1. Went for Aribo, the only class player on show. Looked our most dangerous player and looks confident to take players on. Balogun was impressive without having much to do defensively , Kent apart from a lovely finish missed the game in long parts but in a 1-0 win I can understand voting his way but I can’t believe there are votes for Jack & Kamara who I thought were both anonymous. Not one forward pass between the two of them from my recollection. Shagger will never have a quieter game at the hill of dung , Barasic probed away offensively but will have better days and Hagi looked up for it but not much came off for him.
  2. Thought we were in control of the game mostly without playing well at any stage. Jack & Kamara were almost completely anonymous, Tav was poor, Arizona was class, Balogun had an impressive debut without being tested too much, and I never felt we were in trouble, which doesn’t happen at Pittodrie too often. Agree with previous comments that SG needs to use his bench more. There was a stat that came up midway through second half that showed top 3 clubs who got points from losing positions and bheasts led with 14 with Dolly second on 13. We were unsurprisingly not on list as we do not change the game with our subs very often. Those in-match decisions are what managers earn their money for and what separates winning managers from the rest. This season we can list 9 subs and use 5, and SG has to use his bench much much better if we are to have any chance of 55. Either to cement a lead or to chase a deficit, we must make good changes to the starting 11amd I felt we didn’t do this today. Delighted at the 3 points from the second toughest away game on our schedule but plenty needing worked on. I will however take the same result from the next 37 league games.
  3. Tierney at fault again for opening goal in final. Worst £25M in history. guidance: don’t buy from celtic, their players are overpriced pish.
  4. That’s mightily impressive in a league that is probably of similar quality to our own.
  5. If it is correct that he has 36 in 41 in the Swiss league he is exactly the type we should be looking at. If it is 30 in 71 then obviously that is not at all impressive, and we would be best looking elsewhere. You would think that something as matter of fact as goals scored and appearances would be an easy stat for any journalist to get right with some basic research, or do journos not do research anymore.
  6. Another Irishman gets a leg-up at PQ. I have never heard of this guy, but something tells me I already know which foot he kicks with and that the ongoing abuse of our club from BBC Scotland will be guaranteed to continue unashamed. Can anyone confirm or tell me differently?
  7. Not surprised at all, would be more surprised/disappointed if I heard SG saying he wanted him to stay. Proved he didnt have what it takes when he got himself sent off against the bheasts, it was stupid, reckless and it cost him any chance he had of a long Rangers career. Good luck to him wherever he lands, and I agree with others who say it was a strange signing given his main strength is using his pace in a counter-attack, which was discussed plenty here when his pre-contract signing was announced, so it makes you wonder if mere customers like us can see it why our scouts/management didnt take this into account before wasting a good contract on someone who was never likely to be a success.
  8. Why are you publishing this competition? I spotted this on Twitter and was hoping I was the only one to enter! Quick, delete this thread!
  9. saved me having to type this up, this was exactly what i was going to say.
  10. There must be better out there than those 3 mentioned within our budget. i remember when Morelos was mentioned as being a possible signing his goals to games ratio in Finland was impressive, and given his age and the ambition shown by leaving family behind to chase his dream it all sounded really good. It is that sort of player we are looking for, a natural and hungry goal scorer who has that winning mentality. These 3 are not anywhere near that level going by those stats. Gray is so inconsistent his photo should be beside the description of inconsistent in the dictionary. Unplayable one in 20 games, pretty good in maybe another few but utterly useless in far too many, 14 in 84 sounds about right for him. Avoid.
  11. 40 mins gone and this is as boring a match as I can remember. Despite by far the majority of possession we are creating nothing of any note. Only talking points so far is just how blatantly biased Collum is. Quelle surprise!
  12. There are, ahem, other ways around a difficult situation. I agree with giving Premier Sports and their anti-Rangers commentary teams a wide steer.
  13. Yes if you are a ST holder, it’s the same setup as the Motherwell game.
  14. When do Coventry play their first league game? Given the Championship only finished up in the last couple of days, with play-offs still to come, surely they dont have a league game for many weeks? IF that is the case, why are we playing a team who are so obviously not going to be a good test for us in our last pre-season game? Mental planning!
  15. I hope not unless we are offloading as well. We have plenty of cover at CH, with Goldson, Katic, Big George, McCrory, Bassey, Mayo all for 2 spots. In fact even if we are selling one of the aforementioned, we still have plenty of cover in this area and any incomings should be in areas more needy.
  16. Another possibility but I would absolutely hate for us to be loaning our players to that rancid club.
  17. McGregor is not great with footwork either, and I’m absolutely ok with that if he keeps the opponent at zero goals. That has to be the priority and is what maximises the points and wins trophies. Already he looks a better shot stopper than Wes so we may have upgraded our gk options.
  18. That makes more sense than anything else I can think of so perhaps you’re right on that one.
  19. Had it on mute all the way through so didn’t hear the canned fan noise but this needs to go right away. Either proper fan noise (obviously impossible in lockdown) or no noise, no fake noise please. Looked like a decent workout, we were far too good for them and threatened to blow them away early on before the hammer throwers took over accompanied by the dismal Don Robertson who can’t hide his hatred for us even in a bounce game. The injury to Defoe is the one big downside on the night, and I’m getting more impressed with the new keeper the more I see him, clearly going to be second fiddle to Shagger but looks an able deputy.
  20. I have downloaded chrome on my iPad and got a link from the rtv support and it worked. would recommend anyone still struggling to use chrome and login to rtv from chrome.
  21. In my account it shows that I have a 20-21 ST access, but then it isn’t allowing me access.
  22. For once I was organised and took the clubs advice and got registered and redeemed the voucher last night. However trying to access it tonight and it says I can’t access it in uk. I have tried to repeat the process now and it knows I have already redeemed the voucher. Same as @Yorkie Bear utter shambles. looks like dodgy stream again. Getting great value for my £500 ST!
  23. Redeemed my voucher last night. Go on just now and it’s saying I can’t watch in uk.
  24. I dont really care about the score at this stage, as it is all about getting gametime into the legs and improving on match sharpness. I care even less as it was a B team as any players worthy of consideration fora first team slot will surely be in the squad for tonights Motherwell match. What I am really annoyed about is that we have arranged a bounce game with a club that despises our very existence, that shat on our fans and then lied (ok, I will say allegedly purely for legal purposes) in court about it, and were one of those shouting loudest to get us kicked out in 2012. We should never forgive and never forget clubs like this. Would we play a friendly against the sheep, or the bheasts? No, and this utter scum of a club are in the same category, and should be avoided at all costs. Whoever is responsible for arranging bounce games should either be taught more about our history or be more mindful of the concerns/interests of the support.
