  1. Must be wearing two sets!
  2. Put on a few pounds has he not. Slimming World for him.
  3. Yes I do not think their anything great but still way ahead of us. Next season we must be a lot closer, but that will depend on who we sign.
  4. Slating? Just saying some are not good enough imo, not their fault but still not good enough.
  5. We can argue about the team selection/format/tactics but their light years ahead of us. Tavernier, Haliday, Waghorn, Garner etc. just not good enough at this level.
  6. Windass coming on!
  7. Tavernier ffs!!!
  8. Jeez. You wonder what makes these guys tick.
  9. Me too. Memory not what it was! Just don't remember him being much of a success.
  10. Ok, I stick by my original position. That would mean he scored 11 or more in cup games, I very much doubt it.
  11. According to this Ally Scott scored only 9 goals for us. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ally_Scott
  12. Jardine hit the woodwork (bar?) twice within a couple of minutes during the game? Or is my memory fading.
  13. You sure about him scoring 20 goals? What I remember was him not being much of a footballer at all. He did score against them at Ibrox, final score 1-2 I think. Also played and scored in 2-2 Drybrough Cup Final that they won on penalties.
  14. Read that. Got to say I could not make out what they were singing, I'm in Main Stand. But I prefer to see away fans selling out their section and singing adding a bit to atmosphere.
  15. Lost season ticket is in Louden Tavern, found on subway.

  19. Today once again showed why Waghorn and Garner will not do, far too many missed chances. Pretty happy with the overall performance though, as has been said Holt was a standout again today.
  20. Found this on twitter. Newton Stewart RSC @ns_rsc Got 1 adult for the Main Stand, 1 in Club Deck and 1 Junior in BR5 for the game tomorrow. RT please bears https://twitter.com/ns_rsc
  21. From BBC Sport Rangers: Martyn Waghorn relishing Pedro Caixinha's 'better' style of football Pedro Caixinha has won two and drawn two of his four games in charge of Rangers Martyn Waghorn says Rangers' style of play has improved since Pedro Caixinha replaced Mark Warburton as manager. Rangers have won two and drawn two of Caixinha's four games in charge, including an impressive 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittdorie last weekend. The Portuguese has put an emphasis on a more aggressive approach in the attacking third. "It's a better, quicker, direct style of play which all the forward boys are going to enjoy," Waghorn said. "I think at times we did try and overplay (under Warburton). The manager wants us, when we play through lines to stay through lines, and attack the box as quickly as we can. "As a striker it is nice to know we are going to be getting the ball in the box and get chances." After a blistering start to the season during which he scored five goals in four games, Waghorn's hot streak was halted after he was sidelined with a hamstring problem. He admits he struggled to rediscover his best form on his return to action, but feels he can find his scoring touch again under Caixinha. "I was disappointed with how I performed in the first half of the season," the former Wigan striker explained. Scottish Premiership highlights: Aberdeen 0-3 Rangers "I think I could have done a lot better when I got my chance. For one reason or other I didn't take it. "But that's in the past now. I am pleased that I am playing, getting a run of games, and hopefully I can stay in the side for the new manager." Waghorn says the whole squad has been given a lift by Caixinha's arrival and the players are responding to the new manager's methods. "It's been challenging in different ways but the boys have bought into it very well," the 27-year-old added. "The training methods, the style, how he wants to approach games, the analysis of other teams, has been different to what we are used to, but I've loved every minute of it. "I have enjoyed the hard work and I think it has shown at the weekend how we defend as a team now as well as attacking as a team. "We have changed a lot, little things that we have worked on the training pitch, but it's for the right reasons and hopefully it's good for a change going forward."
  22. Garner will be playing elsewhere next season, hopefully. Is Jack any good? Can't say he has stuck out as something special anytime I've seen Aberdeen.
  23. The best Scottish player I've seen in my lifetime. A truly world class player.
  24. Yes it always struck me that the jersey was too heavy for him. Never met the guy but to me he came over as quiet, shy, introverted type.
