  1. This is the quote from the resignees letter, pretty obvious it was not just this one incident. "However, throughout our tenure we found the conduct of one director particularly challenging, causing all of us to make considerable personal compromises at times. However last week a situation arose, which we felt compromised the organisation rather than ourselves, and that was one compromise we were not prepared to make under any circumstances."
  2. Are you referring to me?
  3. From someone who's normally in the know. "Michael was asked to play for 20s by Pedro and as happy to do so. Pedro didnt advise when or where as he assumed youth coach would advise him. Youth coach assumed Pedro had told him. Its just been a mix up and he did not do it intentionally."
  4. STV now covering this. Michael O'Halloran fails to show up for Rangers U20s game Grant Russell 31 mins ago Raman Bhardwaj The club's coaching staff were surprised by the forward's no-show against Hearts. Michael O'Halloran failed to turn up for the game against Hearts. Michael O'Halloran was an unexpected no-show for Rangers' Under 20s match against Hearts on Monday night. The player was due to start the match in Stirling as an overage player but didn't turn up, to the surprise of the club's coaching staff. STV understands O'Halloran did attend training at Auchenhowie on Tuesday, despite failing to report for duty at Forthbank. The 26-year-old has made 36 appearances for the Ibrox side since joining from St Johnstone in January 2016. O'Halloran has made just six Premiership starts this campaign, the last coming away at Motherwell on January 28.
  5. Do not see this posted. EXCLUSIVE: Michael O'Halloran in Rangers row after failing to turn up for game Michael O'Halloran could be on his way out of Rangers after he seemingly refused to participate in a youth game. by James BIack and Callum Hamilton Apr 11, 2017, 9:00am PDT Michael O'Halloran could be set for the exit door at Rangers after he was a no-show for a youth game according to a number of sources. Rangers' Under-20s took on Hearts last night at Forthbank, winning 2-1. But O'Halloran was due to start for the side - and ended up being a no-show. To make matters worse, O'Halloran will have enraged not only the club's coaching staff but also a major figure in the first-team dressing room, as Kenny Miller - who was helping out with the swifts- was reported to be furious by his non-appearance. It's been a rocky road for O'Halloran ever since Mark Warburton shelled out £500,000 for his services last January. After initially looking good in flashes, he failed to really come up with any end product and couldn't nail down a starting place in the team, despite the right wing spot being up for grabs. Pedro Caixinha's arrival, and fondness for direct, pacy, physical wingers seemed to be the perfect opportunity for the wide man. He was hurled on at right-back against Motherwell, but it seems like his chance will already be blown after this. Whether there's a way back for O'Halloran isn't certain as there may have been a valid reason for his no-show, but we wouldn't expect to see him starting any time soon. Rangers were contacted for comment but have yet to respond.
  6. It was good we were on first, no need to sit through the rest.
  7. When I go on i get the sale of Patrick Thistle tickets, in a queue busy at moment. No mention of ST's.
  8. Aye exactly just for them. There is no requirement to give them the whole of the Broomie.
  9. CLUB Chairman Dave King has again thanked fans for the exceptional support this season that saw a record of more than 43,000 season tickets purchased. This is the maximum amount of season tickets that can be sold to supporters given the need to reserve a complete section of the stadium for away supporters. The Club may have to introduce a waiting list if historical levels of renewal and new applications are achieved. This will be done on the “earliest application” basis. Mr King said: “This degree of loyalty continues to be gratifying and humbling. “Despite a relatively disappointing campaign up to this point, we have taken the necessary steps to revitalise the team and its performance. Of particular note is the carefully researched appointment of a new management unit headed by Pedro Caixinha.” “Funds are available to help Pedro shape his own team. It is important that our supporters continue to see Rangers playing attractive football, but attractive football must not be pursued at the cost of failing to win. “We must reinstate the winning mentality expected of the most successful club in the world in terms of domestic league titles. This winning mentality is only one of the significant qualities that I believe we have reintroduced with the new manager and his support staff. “We could have avoided the significant financial compensation we incurred to bring the new management team on board by delaying the appointment until the end of the season. “However, we believe that it is in the Club’s interest to give Pedro the balance of this season to assess the squad and make preparations in advance of the new season and the early competitive start that we envisage with Europa League qualifiers. It will be a further significant step forward to achieve our stated target of having European football back at Ibrox. “Much of the work undertaken off the pitch is unseen and the maintenance of Ibrox and Auchenhowie is a never ending and costly process. But it is a price we must continuously pay in order to boast two such fantastic facilities and advance the excellent youth development process that we have put in place. “Much has been achieved in the past year and the Club structures are significantly better than a year ago. “Our academy structures and young players are more promising than at any time since my first association with the Club almost 20 years ago. Auchenhowie is finally looking “fit for purpose” and is showing a vibrancy hitherto unseen. “I repeat my previous commitment that I will not consider our work complete until Rangers has been restored to the very top of our game. “No other club anywhere can match Rangers’ history and successes. No other supporters could have endured the traumas that befell Rangers in recent years and remained so proud and dignified. “It is gratifying to finally be able to deal with the normal vagaries of football (such as team performance and management restructures) as business in the normal course rather than as a new crisis – which had been the case over the last few years. I look forward to the coming season with great optimism.” There are four easy ways for season ticket holders to renew for 2017/18: Website: rangers.co.uk/renew Rangers Ticket Centre Phone: 0871 702 1972 (Option 1) Calls cost 13p per minute plus network extras Email: ticketcentre@rangers.co.uk Article Copyright © 2016. 21. Jeez, no matter the subject on here some have to bring their political prejudices to the fore. It's like Kerrydale Street on here at times(allegedly).
  22. I was at a meeting(possibly RST?) where Stewart Robertson stated that he had spoken to a councillor who told him that the club had not approached him or the council on any matter for years. SR went on to say that the club should be in dialogue with the council. This should have happened many years ago, does not matter which parties are in control.
  23. I would assume that the three resignees will be in attendance?
