I got one, like most of these things worded to get the right answers or at least not get problematic answers.

If a candidate states something that is patently untrue then I think Club1872 are right to inform the members. The members don't know if the legal or accountancy qualifications claimed by a candidate are legit or not, in that case I would be grateful if someone in the know told me. Donohoe has made statements that are manifestly untrue, I know he's an ex politician and telling lies comes easily to them but it ain't good enough for Rangers. Brian Donohoe states in his application that there is “every indication that half the contributions could well be handed over to the Football Club to meet expenditure that, it could be argued, is more the responsibility of the Club than any fans’ group”. Mr Donohoe also states that he has “held a number of senior posts within Government”. Club 1872 has been unable to verify that this is the case. Mr Donohoe did serve as a PPS but the UK Parliament’s own website does not consider this a Government post and it could not accurately be described as senior.

One things for sure and that's the fact that Barton's spin on Radio and Twitter is not an accurate account of what happened at training. No way would a club like ours ban a player for 3 weeks for a small misdemeanour. Said it afore will say it again, this guy will only bring more trouble if he stays.

Why do we need to attract politicians,what's so special about them. I would rather have someone like Joanne Percival who has worked tirelessly for,the fans over the years. The female Fawkes is involved in politics, would she do?

I don't believe that any manager would banish a player for 6 days for what Barton's claiming, just a spat with a fellow player. I do believe that Barton is out of order going on Twitter and then live on radio. Get rid as soon as possible IMO, there is more grief to come from this guy if he stays.

Got to say it's not all SNP's fault. No politician of any party has spoken out on this, complete silence from wee shouty Ruth, Labour, Lib Dems, Greens. Only two to,reply to me were SNP, needs more of us to email and write and let all politicians know we are on the case.
