  1. Colshy spat the dummy because he found out his washing machine wasn't as hi-tec as he thought.
  2. Kiev up 2-0 after 20 minutes in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Cup QF 2nd leg. Did anyone see Landreau's howler for the Kiev 2nd goal? Went upto punch a cross away and punched it into his own net! Seems to be a bit of a pattern developing between PLG and shite goalkeepers.
  3. Did anyone see the STV news at 6pm? The main sport feature was about the POTY and a journalist asked Mendes "Did you miss both players?" Mendes replied "No, I only miss my wife." Quality response!
  4. Fuckin' Gribz in Hall of Fame. Horrendous decision!
  5. Yip and it nearly came up.
  6. When's the fishal deadline for entries Jon?
  7. 2-1 Rangers. Weir and Dailly.
  8. You're just being daft now Cammy. Of course Fergie isn't to blame for Davis being terrible or Novo, Boyd etc missing sitters. What a childish comment to come away with. Cammy, we've hardly been convincing all season. We've huffed and puffed to victories all season barring a few exceptions ie Celtic at Parkhead and Hibs at Easter Road. However, loking at results with Fergie and results without Fergie, we seem to have done better without him. There must be some substance in that fact. The reason I've ommitted McGregor from my comments is because he doesn't think he's Mr. Rangers.
  9. But we've won 3 games in a row without them which is something we haven't done since Fergie returned from injury. It's results that count at this stage in the season, not performances. Well, that's what the majority of people are saying anyway.
  10. We're doing fine without them!
  11. Yip, Dorman has been playing out of his skin since the turn of the year as has Boogie yet Mendes, Davis and Caldwell somehow are voted for by their fellow players. Mind-boggling!
  12. Arsenals defence was make-shift to say the least but cruised through in the end. Ronaldos goal was unreal! What a hit!
  13. Seems to me that we're getting on just fine without them!
  14. Looking forward to both of tonights CL games. I'll be watching the Arsenal game but will be flicking to the Porto game every now and again. I have a good feeling Porto will dump Man Ure out tonight. I doubt any of the games will be as good as the Chelski Liverpool game last night but as long as the Goons go through, I'll be a happy chappy.
  15. Shows how shite the standard has been this season if Steven Davis and Pedro Mendes are in the running for it.
  16. Did anyone see Phil Thompson and Jimmy Hasselbank in the SSN studio watching the game? Hilarious! Better team over the two legs went through.
  17. I bet Boyd gets his 100th goal before the end of the season.
  18. I'd like to see the possession % from yesterdays game. 1st half Motherwell must've dominated it.
  19. Probably one of our better performances for a few months now but still pretty average to me. How can a team who are playing very well, score 2 goals then all of a sudden lose control of the match? It seems to strange to me.
  20. Seriously? From the 1st 10 minutes aside we were no better than average yesterday. We went 2-0 up and then scored a penalty but did their keeper make a save? We never looked like scoring other than the 1st 10 mins.
  21. I meant he had no desire to get forward after we went 2-0 up but the whole team had that mentality. I still can't believe a team going the SPL title struggle to control a ball played into feet!
  22. Hmmmmmmmmmm, weird! I thought todays performance was average and I personally think that you've been way to generous with your ratings Cammy. Giving players 8.5 out of ten is a rating you'd give to Arsenal players after a win against an EPL side not to a player who was part of a team who played poorly against a mid table SPL side. My ratings would be...... Alexander - 6 Dailly - 6 (decent enough but should never have played) Whittaker - 7 (MOTM for me. Unlucky with his shot that hit the bar) Boogie - 6 (usual steady performance) Weir - 5 (his passing is diabolical. Why he is constantly given the ball to punt out the park for a throw in is beyond me.) Davis - 5 (poor again). Mendes - 7 (made some tidy passes) Edu - 6 (average performance.) Smith - 5 (Had no desire to get forward) Boyd - 7. Terrific first goal but still needs to learn to control a ball. Velicka - 5. Scored but done very little else.
  23. That exactly how yesterdays performance was to me. Started off like a house on fire doused in petrol, scored two goals then took the foot off the gas and let Motherwell dominate us. Once we went 2-0 up no one seemed interested to attack. No one made forward runs and no one wanted the ball. Every time we had a chance to counter Mendes and Edu struggled to find an outball therefore punting it down the field straight to the Motherwell keeper. I was chuffed to see SS start yesterday and I thought he'd start at left back with Whittaker being pushed further forward but yet again oor Watty had a positional trick up his sleeve. SS was awful yesterday, made rash tackles and just like the other players didn't seem interested in galloping forward to create an out-ball for the defence or midfield to find. What makes it worse is that our midfield had to create yesterday because the forward pair certainly weren't going to do that unless it came from a flick on from a long punt by Alexander. There was no movement between Velicka and Boyd and to be honest that's what I expected. The only reason Velicka played today was to give him games before the OF game because he'll be the one that leads the line against Celtic. We needed a Novo on from the start yesterday to up the tempo when it all died of death for us. Sure as shit, Motherwell got back into it and scored a cracker. Squeaky bum time was introduced to the thousands of Rangers fans until Boyd stuck away the penalty. It looked a stonewaller from where I was sitting but the Motherwell players seemed to think he dived. I just don't understand WS tactics. We shouldve gone at Motherwell and looked to have put the game to bed after we went 2-0 up but we sat back and invited them onto us. 3 points in the bag and the gap at the top closed so it turned out to be a good day.
  24. Thought you were at Anfield and not Ibrox to watch Andreas Velicka score? :fish:
  25. Why oh why are we taking part? We'll go down there and bore the tears off the fans with our 4-5-1 uber defensive tactic who have paid money to watch a friendly.
