What is the combined total numbers of goals scored between Ferguson, Mendes and Davis? This is another problem of ours. Our midfielders are so defensive they don't get themselves into decent goal scoring positions during matches. Another WS tactic? Probably. We should have at LEAST one midfielder who is in double figures for the season but we'll be lucky if any of the three of them have reached 5!

Not just Porto Cammy but Villareal too. OK, they play in arguable the best league in Europe and currently sit 4th in La Liga but they're a small club from a small town with a small stadium. They don't get huge income from gate receipts but that's substituted by the TV revenue they'll receive yet they manage to balance everything perfectly and constantly, for the last 4 or 5 seasons been there or thereabouts and usually end up in the CL by finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th in their domestic league. If they can do it with why can't we?

Had to laugh yesterday when I heard Man Ure scored a last minute winner against Aston Vanilla. The Liverpool fans would've been cursing when Macheda scored in injury time and likewise the Man Ure fans when Benayoun scored in the 92nd minute against Fulham. It's a vicious circle.
