Apart from Cuellar, Smiths signings haven't been any better than average. I hate being so negative but I fear more of the same for next season ie Miller.

Playing players out of position, playing average, tired players ahead of fresher ones and playing a pish tactic didn't help either.

I think the majority on here are old enough to remember the likes of Gazza and Laudrup playing for us, watching a fantastic style of football when Dick was in charge and now we've hit rock bottom watching dross week after week. Laudrup only cost us about �£2.5M so we can afford world class players but these days WS spunked away �£2M+ on Lee McCulloch.

Ideal man? He's a runner but not a finisher! If you're playing a 4-5-1 you need your striker to score and that's something Miller can't do.

All it means is that we'll have to endure more of the same pishy, long high punts up the park earlier than usual!

Walter's "getting it in the neck" because he's the one who picks the team and chooses the tactics (have we got a tactic?) that have recently been pish! I don't know about anyone else but I'd give up the League Cup, the Scottish Cup, making the UEFA Cup Final for the SPL title!

From the team that started last night, I'd keep Cuellar Alexander Whittaker Thomson. The rest can jog on.

It's been a while since the last Kris Boyd thread but after the disappointment of losing the league I'd like to guage peoples thoughts on him. Personally, if we play a 4-4-2 he should be a starter and WS should look to buy players who suit the way he plays. To be fair to Boyd he's given a few minutes here and a few more minutes there and that can't help the guy. Anyway, should he stay or should he go? Mibbies aye or mibbies no!

Apparently we've arranged to play Greater Manchester Police in a pre-seaosn friendly. It's all good though as it's the only team we've attacked all season!

This season in the SPL we played 19 away games and won 9. We drew 5 and lost 5. That's pish! We don't deserve to win the league with that away record. We lost at Celtic Park x 2, Pittodrie, Tynecastle and Tannadice. With the exception of Celtic Park (obviously), did Celtic lose to any of these teams away from home? Did they fuck! We may have only dropped 3 points at home this season but by fuck, we more than made up for it away from home. Disappointing!

Part of the problem is Smiths fascination with Cousin. Why play a guy who publicly said he wanted to join Fulham? His heart was never in it. Out of interest, how many goals did Cousin score for us since the turn of the year? If it's moer than 3 I'll be surprised! What makes it worse is that we flung it away. We had it wrapped up and basically handed it to them. We were in pole position and majorly fucked up.

WS baffles me sometimes. People like the guy because of the 9IAR campaign but personally I think we should forget about that and think about now and right now we're shite of the highest order. I blame him, I blame his tactics and I blame his team selections.

It'll be tough, no doubts about it, especially if WS is in charge.

Was told tonight that we've signed and that the deal has been done since xmas. Passed the news onto Juffrey and he replies that he's heard the same and that the fee agreed is �£1.6M. Fantastic! Looks like it's another season of long balls if the signing of Miller is true.

Shit players, shit tactics and shit decisions. Just shit basically! I don't know what I want our formation to be next season. We played 4-4-2 tonight and were utter shit. How many times did we make their keeper work? We play 4-5-1 and we create very little chances. It doesn't look good right now!
