I've just started a thread and had a wee rant about the exact same thing mate. Utter shambles!

Utter shambles! They just didn't predict the volume of Rangers fans that travelled down for the game. They were given enough notice that we'd come in huge numbers yet the facilities put on for us was atrocious! I was in Albert Square from 1:30pm until 5pm and the place was mobbed, you literally couldn't move. The beer tent ran out of beer at 12pm. What the fuck is that all about? Incredible! I managed to find my way to the portaloos used for toilets. There was about 10 of them for about 10k people. Is that good enough? We were left to piss on walls, on cars, on shop windows infront of women and children. I was lucky enough to get a ticket so missed all the violence in the city centre but I don't blame the fans for getting upset (they did take it to extremes though). The UEFA Cup Final is a HUGE occasion and Manchester let themselves down massively with the unorganised chaos that went on all day. Maybe next time they hold an event like that they'll have learned from the mistakes they made yesterday.

Why come on here and write that? I'm not apologising for the behavious of a few wankers, no way! You're talking as if ALL the Rangers fans rioted when in actual fact it was a very small minority. Away ye go! You're not wanted here!

Watford started the season fantastic but come November they were struggling to win their home games. Windass is a fanny so mon the Bristol Titty.

Calscot, Im leaving at 7am tomorrow morning and I'm fearful I miss the match due to the volume of traffic. Like I've said in another thread, I'll only relax and enjoy it when I arrive in Madchester City Centre.

Every 2nd car on the M74 is decked out with red, white and blue scarves, flags and banners. Above a flyover there's a banner that read '14.05.08 BLUE TSUNAMI'. Magical stuff!

My mate was meant to finish his nightshift at 0800 Wednesday morning. I'd be sitting outside the fire station waiting to pick him up and leave for Manchester from there. He thought he wouldn't be able to get it off but in the end his boss ended up granting him a holiday. Typical!

I just hope I get there with plenty of time to spare.

I'd never have guessed Juff. I'll only be happy when I get into the centre of Manchester. I've got a wee nagging feeling at the back of my mind that Wednesday is going to be a huge fuck up. We planned to leave at 0830 on Wednesday morning but a fellow bluenose told me he was told to add 2 hours onto his journey time cause of the volume of the traffic. We're now leaving at 6am.

I wonder if these places will let Rangers fans wear Rangers top in their premises? I was thinking of taking down a t-shirt to wear if we do decide to go out and celebrate afterwards. I think I'll like Boutique Manchester by the sounds of it. Well worth the tenner.
