If it's an article in the News of the World I'll wait for further evidencebefore deciding if I believe it or not.

I enjoyed the game. The 1st was end to end and Cardiff had a good few chances to score. Pity it took a goalkeeping error to hand Pompey the trophy.

The guy being bitten by the dog is a convicted murderer and was released from prison 2 years ago.

Punting it long to Cousin is OK sometimes, you can bear it now and again but when we kick it long to JCD and Novo we're just giving possesion away. If he's unable to get us playing to a decent standard of football then he should just chuck it in and fuck off! With PLG at least we played decent football not boring punts after punts after punts.

Albertz Square was good. It got a bit to busy as the day progressed but an excellent atmosphere all the same.

Martin Petrov. The Lovenkrands one is a toughie. He scored in the CL but was non-existent in the SPL. As for Kenny Miller you can stick him up your arse! :uzi:

Here's a BBC interview with the PC who was beaten by "Rangers" fans. Linky

I agree bud. Where I was in Albert Square you couldn't move after 4pm and coupled with the fact that bins in the square were non-existent what were fans meant to do? I left at 5pm so god knows what it was like after that. Again, the council just totally under estimated the event in general. One thing's for sure, the council workers will be cleaning up the litter for weeks.

Spot on Wija but unfortunately it won't be swept under the carpet. We'll be reminded of this incident for years to come.

I paid hee haw! My aunts boyfriends best mate is a journalist for the Manchester Evening News and he had a ticket for me. I only found out about 1pm on Wednesday that I had a ticket. I met him in Manchester City Centre and gave him a warm can of Carling as a thank you.

Having an itchy foot but you can't find the itch to scratch it. Seriously though, what really bugs the hell out of me is that everyone now thinks that all Rangers fans are thugs and hooligans. No one seems to be wanting to listen or change their opinion of us, the well behaved fans who went down for a good time. It infuriates me that some people just want to stick the boot in whenever they can regarding Rangers fans. Outisders will think that the picture of the guy being bitten by the police dog deserved it and had it coming when they don't know the full story. Just because you're caught up in it doesn't mean you started the riot! The small mindedness of some people is disgusting. Rant over but I'm still fuming.

I got a text off someone (I think Frankie) saying they were in Yates' on Portland Street. Could I find Portland St? Could I feck. When walking to the game about 5pm I walked along Portland St. Typical!

Interesting and surprising to say the least. Very unusual for anyone media company to defend Rangers and their fans.

Nail head hit! We were losing before the day began with this mob.

I'm the one fighting, pissing on the street and ripping down any object I can get my hands on. See me now?

The train service was an utter joke! We were at Chorley train station which is a few stops after Blackpool. Anyway, a wee 2 carriage train arrived at the station and it was jam fuckin' packed. A 2 carriage train? Ridiculous! The ext train was an hour later. Fuckin' mental! It was an hourly service into Manchester on a day where about 4 trains an hour should've been on. We ended up going from Chorley to Bolton on the bus then Bolton to Manchester on another bus. All in all a 25 minute journey took us 2 and a half hours. The buses were OK but the train service was disgusting!

Here's an overhead picture of Albert Square. If you look closely you can see me

There's an article in the Guardian I think and the UEFA boy Gallard says punishing Rangers is "unlikely".

Good, honest, unbiased post by the man. He quite right tears into the council and the arsehole Rangers fans who caused the trouble.

The official 'Manchester couldn't run a piss up in a brewery thread!'

"Fantastic job?" Fuck off! It was a total shambles! -
