Holland Scotland Norway Macedonia Iceland Could've been easier. Macedonia are a tough team to beat as England always find out when they play them. Norway? Well they narrowly missed out qualifying for Euro 2008. We should be Iceland and hopefully give Holland a game at Hampden. Saying that though, Holland are in no great shapes at present. England got drawn against Croatia again and also Ukraine which is another tough group for them.

But so was Neil McCann and he had no trouble scoring against them at the pigsty to win us the league in 99. If the money is right he'll come. Well if I was a huge Rangers fan and played for Middlesborough for talking sake and Celtic came in with an offer which was accepted by Middlesborough and they offered my 25k in wages a week I'd bite their hand off. Players are financially driven these days.

I expected more from him when we signed him and even more so when WS came back as manager. He seemed to play great and boss the midfield with Hibs every game I saw them play before we signed him. Maybe he'll just take him a wee bit longer to settle in but I'm hoping there's more, a lot more to come from him.

A guy on the BBC Radio 5 Live made a good point. Everything's doom and gloom in England the now but when they pump San Marino 6-0 in the WC qualifiers the majority of fans will think they're going to win the WC. He also went on to say that the English media hype them up something rotten and when they fail the media blame everyone bar themselves. He was an Englishman just talking sense for a change.

Blame the pitch, the weather, the team, the formation, the tactics, the manager and the fans but just don't blame the players - overpriced prima-donnas! McLaren will be sacked tomorrow morning.
