UEFA worked with the refs to ensure Scotland never qualified! That's what I genuinely believe.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw he's pish! He's not got enough movement and his attackin presense is non-existent! No wonder he's playing in a pish poor Sheff Utd team.

At the end of the day we had to win to qualify and going with 1 man up-front wasn't very attacking. We deserved what we got even with a dodgy ref! LIke I said in anothe rthread, what difference would it make if we got beat 4-0 and played a 4-4-2 than got beat 2-1 with a 4-1-4-1? I'd rather be beaten and going out in style than fucking it up and wondering 'what if'.

One word - pish! He should never pull on a Scotland top again. He was shocking tonight. If I was Eck I would've told him to walk upto the ref at FT and punch fuck out of him for the decision he made that led to the Italains 2nd goal. What difference will it make, he'll be banned for a year or so but will never pull a Scotland jersey on ever again after that pish performance.

I can't believe people are supporting him after tonight. The Italians 1st goal was a simple mistake by our defence but watch Hutton before the ball went out for a throw. If he ran back instead of jogging back he may have stopped the ball going out for a throw in. I got the impression he couldnt give a fuck. Not just him but others too. Defenders track back to their position, he jogged back. 100% mistake on his part. It happened again and the Italians nearly went 2 up. Why people think he's the best RB in europe is strange to say the least.

I have to agree with L&T. The decision to award Italy a kree kick for their second goal was shocking. Did Hutton foul the Italian player? Personally, I don't blame the Italian player, I balme the ref for awarding it. The ref had a squeeze on the game. He was told by UEFA not to allow Scotland to progress cause they'd lose millions if they did. For once I'm with Gribz on the conspiracy theory. We were done out of qualifying by a dodgy ref who was given instructions by UEFA to let Italy win. I don't mind losing but to lose to a cheating referee is a disgrace. Plus, watch Isreals 2nd goal against Russia, there's a bribe in there somewhere. Why the Russian defender didn't clear the ball is strange but to give it to an Israeli is bordering on cheating. Honestly, watch ir for yourselves! The ref made poor decision after poor decision. Italy should've gone 2 up but the linesman fucked up. Our goal was offisde but somehow the linesman allowed it. Italys winner was never a free kick to them. UEFA are corrupt bastards! Scotland were done out of qualifying by a corrupt UEFA organistion.

Faddy has to start. He's turning out to be our saviour this campaign so to even think of dropping him is crazy. Eck should find a formation that includes this guy for both home and away fixtures. We NEED to win tomorrow and he's a match winner so it's an obvious decision for Eck to make.

I'm the same as Wijanator. Italy are world champions plus when they need to get a result they 9 times out of 10 do. Scotland will need to play to their maximum and probably a little bit more too. Personally, I can see another glorious failure coming on. Obviously I'm hoping we can win, that would just be absolutely fantastic but in reality it'll be extremely tough. Let's prey Eck doesn't decide to fanny about with tactics and go with the tried and tested formation that's worked at home in the last few games.
